7.2.5. Launcher problem.

Hello,

I downloaded the new launcher and followed all instructions but keep getting this message :

Launching WoW Freakz 64bit...

There was a problem launching wow-64.exe, make sure this launcher is in your wow directory

Press any key to continue . . .

According to the guide this is normally caused by a long or unusual character file path, my path reads as :

C:\WoW\launcher_freakz-64.exe

I have checked that read only is unchecked on the folder.

I have waited 30 minutes and an hour but still with the same result.

I have tried both 64 and normal exe to launch.

There is no Freaks or WoW listed in task manager.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I would suggest trying to move your WoW folder to your desktop and then retrying it there.

If not, then try to replace the launcher files and launch the "Launcher_freakz.exe", not the 64-bit.

Thank you for the reply, this worked for some reason even though the path is now longer

I also reinstalled the 7.2.5. launcher to the new folder once I had moved it.
