A late introduction

Hello dear Freakz community!

It's been around a year since I've joined the WoW server as a mere, careless player already, and many things have happened since then. I started to get more and more involved and devoted, first became a Helper on Discord, then started posting frequently on the forums aswell, but in all that time I've never written a proper introduction to myself, soo why not do it now, as some sort of 1-year anniversary special


Well then. My name is Sarah (Yes that is both my "nickname" online and in my real name) and I'm from a town near Hamburg in Northern Germany.
I'm currently 24 years old.. reaching the first quarter to 100 soon.. oh my, don't want.

Now, why am I here? Well. I love World of Warcraft, I've been playing it continously since I first started playing in 2008, shortly before the release of Wrath of the Lich King. I always knew about the existence of private servers, but I've never really played on them much, as I've been a subscriber to retail WoW. However, the current expansion, Battle for Azeroth, has disappointed me so badly that I've fully quit the official servers, and instead chose to return to Legion, despite it being the most recent expansion prior to BfA, as Legion was one of the expansions I've had the most fun and the most success in.

I chose Freakz mostly because of video footage posted by server reviewer Dodgykebaab and watching gameplay footage posted on the official WoW Freakz YouTube channel, it seemed the most promising and most well-working server out of all Legion choices available - and it turned out, it really is! Maybe my judgment is quite alright after all.. and I'm not even a Paladin main!

Anyway, when I'm not playing the game or lurking on Discord and/or the forums (Wait, such moments exist?) I like to read books, mostly in the Fantasy genre. I'm even writing my own, have been doing so for multiple years, but it's mostly some kind of never-ending project which I keep continuing, editing and changing. I don't think I'll ever truly draw a finishing line to it, let alone release it to the public, but who knows.

I also like swimming, which I may be doing again soon, given that it's Summer and a heat wave is announced to be just around the corner in central Europe.

As for real life occupation, I'm going to vocational school to learn to become a tutor for kindergarten kids and/or elementary school children.
