Bug description: The azerite trait is not giving the correct amount of absorption. -- I found out a way to "fix" this, basicaly unequipping any non-azerite piece after exitting a battleground.

This happens to many other azerite traits that give buffs... so after leaving certain instanced zones a downscale can happen/s, that persists until you re-log or swap items.

Is there some sort of downscale in bg's and arena?

This particular bug happened to my druid and I tried relogging, deleting cache, removing the azerite pieces themselves and only fixed itself after I removed a non-azerite piece.

Good Evening Razvanavzar,
It seems this Bug is confirmed, however, I highly believe its just a visual bug - that is why it requires you to Re-Log or Unequip a Non-Azerite Item.
Also, as you may have noticed, healings etc are reduced by 50% in Battlegrounds, that could also be a reason why this happens.

yes
azerite traits are nerfed by 50% (sometimes more) in pvp

they are nerfed to 1/3 of their power .. 66 Strenght trait gives 22 in pvp , 6000 absorb is 2000 in pvp and so on

Dear RazvaNavzar,

Due to the impact that PvP has on traits and your video not showing your prior involvement in it. I will have to reject this post. If you still believe that traits misbehave without you being few moments ago in any sort of PvP scenario. Please make another report with step by step bug simulation video.
