Can't change "Read-Only" in the folder.

Whenever I try to change the Read-Only thing in the folder, it works but then reverts back to it instantly. What's going on?

Hello. Are you sure that it reverts back to being "Read-Only", the folder itself? Once you remove the tick and click Apply, after you open the properties again, it should be a filled box rather than a tick, which means that some of the folders inside the Data folder, but not the folder itself.

literally got same problem.
Nothing seems to work to get this launcher going, gone trough all the steps on both these sticky threads.
Now when I downloaded the launcher as a resort for trying to make this work it just wont remove the read only so now I cannot even open the game.

Close the game/restart PC and then do read-only thing

If the game is running then that happens.

same problem to me.. i have do it what you ^^ said but doesn`t work.. is restoring back to read only

if you see the game in task manager, probably is missing some serious files.. i will try to download the game again and see what hapend
