If Player A interacts with the coffin , Player B is not able to interact with the coffin even if they aren't or are in a party.
Player A gets put in a phase with npcs meanwhile Player B is left there without doing anything.
The only way to finish this quest if someone besides you has spawned the quest npc is to abandon the quest, and be the first one to interact with the coffin.
