Considering that Legion isn't finished yet and classes change with each patch you should go with whatever you like the most. When Legion comes to it's final patch you can choose based on top performance.
I personally feel comfortable with any class, but I will stick to resto/balance druid as I love it and it's also more then viable so far.

To be quite honest, I'll probably stick with what I know the best and main a Death Knight, but I'm thinking of actually investing in other characters as well. If I were to pick an off-character I'd probably go with either a warlock or a shadow priest, since I have both of those but I can't be bothered to level them up right now. Then again, I like what they've done with the classes in Legion so I might as well try them all and see how that goes.

Why shouldn't something work? ^ That's why we will have a PTR, time to test everything and lot of bug fixes so the classes/content should work at least fine till the launch.

^ Maybe because of the MoP experience, on classes such as the Frost DK which is way below others in terms of damage, for example (in general speaking, there are exceptions).
Also, let's be serious, at least in the beginning some classes might work worse than they're supposed to, or on the other hand, might work better than they're supposed. Who knows...

Regarding this topic, i started playing WoW as a warrior, so i'll stick to it untill the end. Also, my FDK will accompany it, maybe also a Guardian Druid, or why not, even a Demon Hunter.

"like" for screeshot:))))

actually enhacement shaman is not so good as you think ,it's good .but not the "best" dps ,i would go with rogue/hunter/warlock/monk
hunter does a lot of damage on starting gear ,as well as warlock ,rogue it's a bit complicated because depends on which spec you're playing ,for example ,some fights are good on outlaw spec and others on assassionation .

I know that they are very squishy. They were op in 7.0 when i play a little bit. I know for 7.1.5 as melle, DH is pretty *** up, especially in cleaves and to one shot healers in dampending.
