Migration requests rejected for having trial classes?

I just requested a migration from Genesis to Legion (old account, returning player from 2014) and it got rejected.
The reason for rejection was that I already had 100+ lvl characters on the servers. The characters in discussion are actually TRIAL (limited time) characters that I created to play around until my old character got migrated. This is now problematic for me as my old character is stuck on genesis at lvl 85. I have at least 1200 hours of game time on that character alone.

Now I would like to draw the line with a question, a suggestion and a request.

If you have a trial character created will the migration process be denied or was this bad luck for me?

If that is indeed how it works and requests get rejected for having temporary trial classes I would suggest to have that very boldly mentioned in the migration description.. some people just want to create a trial to fool around.

And my request would be to reconsider my migration request.. as I truly wish to return to Freakz..

First of all, welcome back!

No, trial characters do not cause your migration to be rejected, or at least they shouldn't be. This could have been a mistake on the GM handling the migration's part.

I recommend you to make the migration request again and to explain that the characters are trials, just to avoid confusion.

It doesn't have to be the same.. you can bind your game account to your forum account here: https://forum.wow-freakz.com/wow_bind_account.php

That will display your ingame characters from your game account on the forums.

As long as you do not have characters of level 100 or higher on the Legion realm, you can use the migration option, even from our MoP realm as long as you've been offline there for at least 2 years.

I don't really understand what you are trying to say.

If your old characters on the MoP realm are level 85 and 71 then you can't migrate. The requirement is to be max level on the expansion you're coming from, which for MoP is level 90.

I already said it before, you need to be offline for at least 2 years. If you level them now, you will no longer have been offline. That isn't possible.


The requirement is clearly stated in the FAQ:

What level should my char/chars be from the server I transfer?
You should be max level on the chars you want transfered (level 60 on Vanilla servers, level 70 on Burning Crusade servers, level 80 on WoTLK servers, level 90 on MoP servers, level 100 on WoD servers, level 110 on Legion servers)
