Need suggestions on monk artifact questline

Hi there everyone!

My daughter and I are trying to get through the Monk starting artifact questline and we're stuck on Immersus in Terrace. We've told the three to minimize damage and we're trying to heal them but we're finding it an impossible task. First, we get all blob aggro and none of the NPCs help us with them so we eventually end up with 10-15 of them eating us. Secondly, although we tell them to minimize damage, they clearly don't and all are losing health more quickly than we can heal them + us. We've watched videos to try to see what we're doing wrong but retail doesn't work the same as what we're finding(for instance, our NPCs would be helping us kill the blobs).

Are there any suggestions that might help us be able to get through this portion of the chain?

Suggestion:

Get better gear.

Play mistweaver => heal the friendly NPCs and try to kill / kite the adds. (spam release spirit)

That's how I did it

The linked guide doesn't even deal with the issue at hand but instead links a retail video, which does not work in the same way as the Freakz server. It's of no assistance regarding this issue.

Thanks very much, PowerPhio. I guess we'll go level somewhere in WoD until we can buy some 101 gear. It's somewhat disappointing, TBH.

You can go in Legion zones and do some bonus objectives.

Yes, I remember I jumped from Dalaran then used an aquatic mount to get to Azsuna.
