I have battle.net client. Is it possible i change the realm in config file and play or do i need to download freakz client?

Actually you do need the realmlist too. I had the Blizzard client, downloaded the launcher and i was getting somekinda errors when trying to log in. I was able to fix it by putting the realmlist into the config file. Without it you get somekinda interface error or something.

No, you don't need to set realmlist. The error you were receiving was because we also had some other test realm listed there, I deleted it for now

I have attempted using the wowfreakz launcher and the client hangs at connecting... would like the legion realmlist to try to connect with the regular launcher..

All you need to set is

Code:

set portal "EU"

in config.wtf then use our wow.exe. Connecting with "other launchers" won't help at all.

I'm a dummy, I just didn't have the most up to date wowfreakz launcher. updated that and good to go.

Actually sorry for my position to intrude this post.

With all my respects, Shocker, if you allow to know the realm location server of legion, I can share with you a mac client to the game. I managed to have the right client 7.1.5 for mac and the tc_bundle and mfil but needs the right realm to connect, otherwise hangs always on BLZ51901001 or connecting…

Won't help, server requires launcher_freakz.exe
