WoW Freakz spell link:
Atonement

Bug description:
Atonement healing should not be affected by damage reduction abilities.
Absorbs (e.g. DK Anti-Magic Shell, PW:S, Maiden in Kara/ToS) and Damage Reduction Abilities (e.g. Eye Boss in Vault, Kil'jaden in ToS) should do full Atonement healing.

Proof:

1) Blizzard forum of september 2017
Quote:
Atonement is not affected by damage reduction abilities. Your atonement will always heal as though you were doing full regular damage to the boss. The best example I can think of is in Vault of Wardens.... Same principle in pvp. If you attack a DK with anti-magic shell up, you will do no damage, but your healing will occur just as if you were.

2) Disci guide BFA (8.2)
Quote:
Mechanics that reduce our damage dealt does not affect the healing done with Atonement. For example, some raid bosses have phases with 99% reduced damage taken; Disc damage done will still heal for full through Atonement. That being said immunities will stop our damage completely which also means our Atonement healing.

3) Random log of Kil'Jaden patch 7.2.5
Normal Purge dmg = 68k ---> Atonement heal = 28k
Purge dmg during intermission 1 = 0.6k ---> Atonement heal = 28k
