Bug description: NPC which starts pet battle - Bredda Tenderhide - https://www.wow-freakz.com/npc_finder.php?npc=99077&&name=bredda-tenderhide(http://www.wowhead.com/npc=99077/bredda-tenderhide) has option to end this quest which is redundant. World quest initiates in proximity to this NPC. You can ask NPC to start pet battle with her. Upon defeating this NPC in pet battle, world quest objective is completed and player gets reward. As world quest is completed, this NPC becomes invisible so you can't ( and there's no need to ) turn this quest in @NPC.
