Bug description: If you are casting a spell and use counterspell your cast gets interrupted.
My friends tested on their classes and its bugged for them too (monk and shaman) so i believe its bugged for every interrupt spell.

I didn't find much on the internet about this so i don't think its intended.

Well you are overlapping a cast , isn t it obvious the spell should cancel? It acts like you are moving when you are halfway through the cast.

It should just not cast counterspell.

If you try to cast any instant cast spell while casting it does not proc and it shouldn't.

Most pvp mages macro counterspell with stopcasting for this reason.

It is like that on retail as well, it's a new feature in Legion. When casting an interrupt spell, it automatically cancels the current cast, in order to make sure you actually interrupt the enemy.
