    De la 4.3.4 la 5.4.8 paladinul sa schimbat foarte mult. Dacã pe Cataclysm paladinul tank era paletã, țin sã vã spun cã pe acest expansion el se descurcã foarte bine ! Mai jos sunt prezentate schimbãrile fãcute cu fiecare patch lansat de Blizzard.
    Crucial from Cata to MoP (4.3 to 5.0):
    Quote:
    - Talent tree, cooldowns, coefficients, etc completely revamped.
    - You can now store up to 5 HoPo at a time, though you can only use 3 at once
    - Abilities mostly have same names, but do different things. ShoR is biggest example. Read up or be surprised.
    - No more auras
    - Only 1 taunt and it's single target
    - Any piece of plate with STR and no Crit is tanking gear

    Changes from 5.1 to 5.2:
    Quote:
    - Grand Crusader now can proc off Dodge/Parries as well, making Avoidance a respectable stat
    - AoE target cap raised from 10 targets to 20
    - Consecration has a little more base "punch" but scales less well with Vengeance
    - Hand of Purity (level 60 Talent option) got buffed
    - Seal of Righteousness (aka the AoE seal no one ever uses) buffed moderately. Still don't use it.
    - Light's Hammer now also snares enemies damaged by it

    Changes from 5.2 to 5.3:
    Quote:
    - Glyph of Battle Healer nerfed from 30% coefficient to 20%, glyph is still mandatory (unless threat is an issue)
    - ShoR base damage reduction nerfed from 30% to 25%, doesn't really change anything

    Changes from 5.3 to 5.4:
    Quote:
    - Sacred Shield talent nerfed 30%, for general tanking, we're now switching from SS to EF
    - Eternal Flame talent buffed 40%, for general tanking, we're now switching from SS to EF
    - Sanctified Wrath talent buffed, each Judgment during Avenging Wrath now gives 2 HoPo instead of 1. Assuming you're using Eternal Flame, all level 75 talents are pretty close now.
    - Glyph of Battle Healer nerfed again. Now it takes your SoI heals, cuts them by 70%, and then sends them to whoever is the most injured (other than you, it won't heal the paladin using it). I have yet to find a situation where we'd want to use it now.
    - Multiple changes to Vengeance: Vengeance overall cut 20%, Vengeance in AoE situations significantly reduced (see details in Vengeance section), and Vengeance now has a cap based on your Max Health.
    - Grand Crusader changed again, no longer procs at all on CS/HotR, now has 30% chance to proc on successful avoids
    - CS now applies Weakened Blows debuff as well as HotR
    - Not a big point, but there will be no epic gems so don't wait for them.


    Alegerea rasei:
    În tabelul de mai jos aveți starting atributes pt. fiecare clasã:

    Human - pasiva Sword&Mace Specialization, care crește expertise cu 1%
    Dwarf - pasiva Mace Specialization, care crește expertise cu 1%
    Draenei - pasiva Heroic Presence, care crește hit chance cu 1% + Gift of the Naaru (heal) (3 min. CD)
    Blood Elf - activa Arcane Torrent, care dã silence și mana gain (2 min. CD)
    Tauren - activa War Stomp stun (2 min. CD) și pasiva Endurance, care ne dã increas 5% la base health.

      Cea mai bunã rasã:

      • Alianțã: Draenei
      • Hoardã: Tauren


    Stat Priority:

      Hit (7.5%) > Expertise (15%) > Haste > Mastery > Crit > Parry > Dodge

      • Hit7.5% ( 2550 rating)
      • Expertise soft cap 2550, hard cap 5100.


    Protection Builds:
    Sunt 2 builduri pt. Paladinu Protection care sunt folosite pe MoP: Haste Control build și Mitigation Mastery build.

    • Haste Control build - se bazeazã pe Haste pt. a avea cooldown-uri cât mai mici. Totodatã DPS-ul și Healul pe care îl dã paladinul sunt destul de seminficative.
    • Mitigation Mastery build - se bazeazã pe Mastery pt. reducerea de physical damage pe care îl primești. Mastery-ul la Paladinul Protection ne dã increase la physical damage reduction de la Shield of the Righteous, mãrește efectul bufului Bastion of Glory (aka larger WoG/EF) și mãrește șansa sã blochezi melee attacks.

    Personal prefer Haste Control build și voi prezenta acest build în ceea ce urmeazã:

    • Haste: va fi secondary stat. Pasiva Sanctity of Battle, reduce GCD-ul (pânã la 1 secundã) și scade cooldown-ul la majoritatea abilitãților. De asemenea, mãrește melee atack speed pt. un mai bun heal din Seal of Insight și crește numãrul de thick-uri de la Eternal Flame. La 50% haste ( 21250 haste rating ) este ultima valoare unde haste-ul este eficient. Ce trece de aceastã valoare e degeaba.
    • Mastery: cea mai bunã sursã de damage reduction. Totodatã mastery-ul crește damage reduction-ul de la Shield of the Righteous și crește șansa de a da block.
    • Crit: acest status ne ajuta la boost-ul de dps, dar e folosit intr-o mare mãsurã și de Eternal Flame, dar nu e nici pe departe cel mai bun status pt. Paladinul Protection. Dați reforge din crit in haste / mastery ( dacã ați ajuns la haste cap ). Nu socketați niciodatã gemuri cu crit, și nu dați reforge în crit.
    • Dodge/Parry: sunt ultimele ca importanțã în lista de statusuri. Mențineți-le cât mai jos posibil, dar încercați sã le egalați pe cât se poate. Pt. aceasta puteți folosi Theck's Parry/Dodge balancing macro.






    Active mitigation:

    • Este un nou stil de joc pt. tanci. Acesta constã în folosirea unui spell pt. a primii damage reduction/increase healing/absorb etc. La Paladin spell-ul acesta este Shield of the Righteous care reduce physical damage taken cu 30% timp de 3 secunde (% se modificã în funcție de valoarea Mastery-ului ). Shield of the Righteous costã 3 Holy Power care sunt generate de unul din cele 3 HP generators spells: Judgement, Crusader Strike/HotR, și GC-buffed Avenger's Shield. Deoarece Shield of the Righteous reduce doar physical damage este foarte important sã știm care abilitãți sunt physical damage și care nu.

    • Tip: înainte boss-ul sã casteze spell-ul faceți 5 HP, folosiți ShoR, faceți încã un HP și folosiți iar ShoR. Buff-ul de la ShoR se stackeazã și își prelungește durata așa cã vom beneficia 5-6 secunde de acel physical damage reduction. Este foarte important sã avem cât mai mult timp acest buff pe noi dar de asemenea e și mai important sã îl avem la momentul potrivit. Uptime-ul la acest buff trebuie da fie undeva la 70-80% ( la end gear ).


    Tank Suvrival

    • Aceasta se bazeazã foarte mult pe talentul din T3 ( Eternal Flame sau Sacred Shield ).
      Personal consider EF mai bun decât SS datoritã faptului cã în 5.4.8 absorbul a fost nerfuit și healing-ul de la EF a fost îmbunãtãțit.

      • Eternal Flame: înlocuiește WoG și pe lângã healul instant acesta este și un HoT. Acest spell beneficiaza de pasiva Guarded by Light care convertește Attack Power in Spell Power. Cel mai mult AP îl primim din Vengeance ( pasivã ce e prezentã la toți tancii ). Așadar healul primit din EF este semnificativ, ajungând de multe ori sã ne umple viața. Având în vedere cã Bastion of Glory (care îl primim de fiecare datã când folosim ShoR) ne dã increase la healul de la EF, e cel mai eficient sã folosim EF când avem pe tank 5 stackuri de BoG.

    • Cooldowns

      • Este foarte important sã știm cum și mai ales cãnd sã ne folosim cooldown-urile. Trebuie evitatã stackarea lor, ele trebuie date în ordine, unul dupã altul în funcție de encounter și de damage-ul pe care îl primim.

        • Guardian of Ancient Kings - reduce cu 50% damageul pe care îl primim, atât physical cât și magical.
        • Ardent Defender - reduce cu 20% damage-ul pe care îl primim, atât physical cât și magical. Cât timp acesta este activ urmãtorul damage care in mod normal ne-ar omorâ ne va da heal ( 15% din maxim HP).
        • Divine Protection - reduce cu 40% magic damageul pe care îl primim. Cu Glyph of Divine Protection reduce atât physical cât și magical damage cu 20%.
        • Hand of Sacrifice - aplicã un buff pe un player care redirecționeazã 30% din damageul pe el îl primește, spre paladin. Cu Glyph of Hand of Sacrifice acest spell va funcționa ca un shield, nu va mai redirecționa pe noi acel 30% damage.
        • Hand of Protection - aplicã un buff care face playerul imun la physical damage.
        • Devotion Aura - reduce cu 20% magic damageul pe care îl primește tot raidul. De asemene ne face imuni la interrupt și silence.



    Talente

    • Datoritã noului stil de talente din MoP vom putea foarte ușor sã ne schimbãm talentele înainte de un encounter folosind Tome of the Clear Mind.

        Tier 1:

        Personal prefer Speed of Light, dar și Long Arm of the Law este o alegere foarte bunã pt. encounterele în care trebuie sã te miști mult.


        Tier 2:

        Acesta este CC tierul la paladin. Nici una din aceste 3 abilitãți nu vor avea un impact major. Eu am ales Fist of Justice care dã 6 secunde stun.


        Tier 3:

        Despre aceasta am discutat și mai sus în acest ghid ( aici ). Așadar vom alege Eternal Flame.


        Tier 4:

        În acest tier avem de ales între 3 defensive abilityuri. De cele mai multe ori vom alege Unbreakable Spirit, deoarece aceastã abilitate ne va reduce cooldownul cu 50% la Bulã, Divine Protection și Lay on Hands. Clemency este și el folositor doar la encounterele unde avem nevoie sã punem 2x Hands (ex. Juggernaut, Malkorok, etc.).


        Tier 5:

        Holy Power tier. Având în vedere faptul cã în acest ghid este prezentat paladinul protection pe Haste Control build vom alege Divine Purpose. Totodatã și Holy Avenger este o foarte bunã alegere pt. fighturile unde chiar ai mare nevoie de încã un CD.


        Tier 6:

        Toate cele 3 talente din acest tier sunt foarte folositoare, fiecare în felul lui. Execution Sentence este un spell de DPS/Heal, în funcție de targetul pe care acesta e castat. Light's Hammer se folosește la enocunerurile unde raidul stã stackat. Acesta dã heal și damage AoE. Holy Prism fi folosit ca un AoE taunt. De cele mai multe ori vom folosi Light's Hammer .

        Talent Build:




    Glyphe

    • La fel ca și talentele, glyphele le vom schimba în funcție de fightul pe care urmeazã sã îl începem. În ceea ce privește glyphele, o schimbare majorã este faptul cã acum avem doar Major Glyphs care influențeazã clasa, cele minore fiind doar pt. efecte vizuale la anumite spelluri.


      • Glyph of Final Wrath - Holy Wrath dã cu 50% mai mult damage pe targeturile care au sub 20% HP.
      • Glyph of Alabaster Shield - când blochezi urmãtorul ShoR are increase damage cu 20%.
      • Glyph of Word of Glory – crește cu 3% damageul pe care îl dã Paladinul pt. fiecare Holy Power folosit pt. Word of Glory. ( pt. single target fights )
      • Glyph of Divine Protection - reduce magic reductionul de la acest spell cu 20% dar ne dã și 20% physical damage reduction.
      • Glyph of Double Jeopardy – dacã folosim judgement pe 2 targeturi, pec el de-al doilea target avem 20% increased damage la Judgment. ( pt. fights în care avem mulți adds )


    • La glyphele minore puteți alege ce doriți, însã acestea 2 sunt foarte importante:

Foarte bun și-l recomand. Când se terminã concursul cu tutorialele ți-l fac sticky la Paladin section.
Btw, schimbã culoarea aceea albastrã, n-ai voie sã o folosești.

Foarte bine facut guide-ul dar e ceva ce ma cam deranjeaza la inceput , partea cu Arthas care e fiul lui Uther e total gresita iar blood knights sunt un grup de paladini blood elf deci nu toti paladnii in general se numesc asa.

E ok culoarea, e un ghid, sunt folosite mai multe culori deci nu face abuz sau nu se incearca a se folosi culoarea moderatorilor.

Edit: Sa speram ca se rezolva bug cu holy power ,cand avem 4 sau 5 holy power si fol o abilitate cu 3 holy power pt max increase damage gen shield of righeteous iti calculeaza doar cele 2 holy power din rezerva defapt

Aproape perfect :3 Felicitari, imperfectiunea e urmatoarea - Acest guide e pentru 5.1, si (cel putin eu) nu am fost capabil sa ajung la 50% Haste pe 5.1 - Fara procs si fara sa sacrific alte statsuri.

in proc poti ajunge la 50% haste. Eu am menționat aici targeturile. Clar ca nu o sa poti sa le ai pe toate, la valorile indicate de mine, dar le-am mentionat pt a sti la ce trebuie sa ajungi. Acest ghid e pt. 5.4.8 , pt. ca pe acest patch jucam, avem talente de 5.4.8 doar gerul e de 5.1.

Pentru cei care nu au nevoie de heal ca tank ,jucati paladin protection - daca nu reusiti asta ,lasati-va de protection
