Descrierea bugului / Bug description: Improved Lava Lash no longer increases base Lava Lash damage by 15/30%. This increase has been rolled into the base Lava Lash skill. Wich means my Lava Lash does 352% weapon damage now, yet on PTR i only crit 45k with full relentless gear, and better weapons, however on 406a patch i do 55K crits with it. The damage is bugged it should be more

Not to mention I have more mastery in rele gear wich increases fire dmg of lava lash too

The link however still states the 20% bonus damage per charge. I believe the post is a mistype. Always look at the tooltip links.

As for the 30% from improved Lava Lash; looking at the current baseversion of Lava Lash (200% weapon damage), the talent bonus raises it up to 260% weapon damage (30% of 200% is 60%). Blizz gave us a 60% base damage buff which makes up the loss of bonus damage from the talent.

To add to that, Glpyh of Lava Lash doesn't work on the talent bonus, but will work on the 60% extra damage once they are included baseline, giving us another 12% weapon damage. A BUFF!

Lastly, Lava Lash will additionally benefit from Flamtongue Weapon now, which it currently doesn't as FT raises spellpower, and LL scaling from AP.

"You are forgetting, Unleashed Rage (and other AP modifiers) are buffed from +10% to +20%, which will increase damage"

I provided links to proove my statement. The in rolled change with LL provides more damage if glyphed (+12% damage), cause previously the talented dmg boost was not effected only the base LL (200% weapon dmg); The UR provides 20% more AP not 10% giving it a boost too, cause LL scales of AP; the fact that flametongue weapon now provides +7% magical damage not spellpower, and LL is considered fire dmg, that is magical; and finally the proof that mastery affects LL all shows, that LL damage should be way more than what I produce, especially in 4.3. My info was gathered from offical sites. If need any further proof contact me.

Calculating using your AP and Weapon damage/speed. Assuming you are using Glyph of lava lash, 5 stacks of Searing Flame, Flametongue Weapon, 3/3 Elemental Precision Talent and 12% Damage increase from your mastery.

Lava Lash:
[weapon damage] + [Weapon Speed] * [Attackpower / 14]
1004 + 2.6(Lava Las 260% coeficient) * 1035.1428571 = 3695 (minimum damage without talents and glyphs)
1865 + 2.6 * 1035.1428571 = 4556.3 (maximum damage without talents and glyphs)


3695 * 1.2 (glyph of lava lash) = 4434
3695 * 2 (5 stacks of Searing Flame) = 7309
3695 * 1.07 (flametongue weapon) = 3953.65
3695 * 1.03 (elemental precision) = 3805.85
3695 * 12% (12% Increased damage by base mastery) = 4138.4

4556.3 * 1.2 = 5467.56
4556.3 * 2 = 9112.6
4556.3 * 1.07 = 4875.241
4556.3 * 1.03 = 4692.989
4556.3 * 12% = 5103.056

Minimum Damage: 4138.4 + 3805.85 + 3953.65 + 7309 + 4434 = 23640.9 - 10% = 21276.81
Maximum Damage: 5467.56 + 9112.6 + 4875.241 + 4692.989 + 5103.056 = 29251.446 - 10% = 26426.3014
