Recover old characters

Hello,

I used to play on WoWFreakz years ago and had several 80-90 level characters if I recall correctly.
it was not on the Legion Expansion, now that i've logged in my account I have found that I do not have any of those characters available.
is there a way to recover them?

That means you have played on the MoP realm Genesis.
However, this server offers only Legion right now (soon BFA as well). You can't recover characters from Genesis. There was a possibility to reserve names and transfer mounts + achievements but since 7.3.5 patch hit, you're not able to do it anymore.
