[REJECTED] Releasing quickly after dying causes combat mechanics to potentially still target you

This has happened to me twice now in Zuldazar zone. The first time I suspected it was a PvP bug and that someone killed me while in spirit form on my way back to my body. Now I'm not so sure. Is a DoT ticking after I'm dead and when I release to spirit healer? Is the mob I'm fighting using an attack on me while I'm dead that still hits my spirit form? Both times this has happened it was after I released and was running back to my body to resume the fight.

This puts you into a 6 minute release timer (no previous deaths) so you can't release. When I was finally able to return to spirit healer I'm still dead (twice dead) and can't move because it still has me as dead while dead with no release option so I can't return to my body and can't talk to spirit healer to even take rez sickness.

Update: I believe this bug is related to other bugs I've observed related to releasing too quickly when you've died. I'm sure this has happened to many people under many different circumstances. When you die in a dungeon or raid for example and release immediately upon dying you will often not drop combat or mobs will pursue you all the way back to the dungeon entrance. I think these bugs are related and intermingle with other bugs like DoTs probably not dropping or mob attacks that violate range parameters which is how I have been killed multiple times now while already dead in spirit form as I was trying to return to my body.

Unstuck is not a good choice when you're trying to keep the 7 day contract buff for BfA rep. Some of those contracts are expensive in AH or just not available at all sometimes. I can't reliably reproduce this bug, but I suspect I can prevent it by not releasing right away when I die so that the server actually has time to drop DoTs or stop attacks that could target and kill me even though I should have been unable to be targeted or out of range. This bug should be investigated more thoroughly in the context that it may be related to other bugs related to releasing very quickly after dying.
