Returning player missing characters

I stopped playing in 2017 and kept the game on a storage drive since then.

Yesterday I DL the new launcher and updated my game to your current patch, and logged in. All of my characters minus a level 6 are gone.

I have all of my characters in my WTF folder still, but they don't load in game. I logged in on the Freakz site and checked my account history, my account dates back to 2017, but none of my shop transactions show from 2017.

Please help

Did you play on MoP or Legion?
If you played on MoP then all of MoP content was erased, same with characters.

Check if your characters are on armory, if yes maybe you're using a different account?

My characters are both in the armory and in my WTF folder, I have no other accounts that I can remember using for Legion.
