Using Recount

Guys I am pretty new to the game, and a friend of mine suggested that i download a couple of addons (LUI and Recount if i remember correctly). The thing is, I do not know how to actually customise them, and the Recount thing doesnt even appear. I watched a lot of tutorials on how to instal it ( not that its very difficult) but I cant seem to get it to work. Help?
