Bug description:
This quest can no longer be completed.

The world quest completion area and the NPC Durian no longer overlap, so when the objective (defeating Durian) is completed, it does not count (since the player is not in the objective area).

Yes, indeed the NPC location is no longer in the objective area, and for that reason you can no longer complete the quest due to you abandoning the world quest once you go and engage the pet battle. I will provide a video clip of the NPC location and World Quest location just as a confirmation, since there is already a video in the post above.
