1. Intro
The Shadow specialisation is currently able to deal medium to medium-high single target damage and medium to high AoE damage, in PvE encounters.
The Shadow Priest playstyle is very reliant on DoTs, and this means that they also do very well in situations where they can multi-DoT several targets
2.Races
Alliance
Human
Every man for himself - removes all movement impairing effects and all effects which cause loss of control of your character. This effect shares a cooldown with other similar effects.
The human Spirit Increases Spirit by 3%.
Worgen
Darkflight - increasing current movement speed by an additional 40% for 10 seconds.
Viciousness - Increases Crit by 1%.
Draenei
Gift of naaru Heals the target for 20% of their total health over 15 seconds. 3 minute cooldown.
Pandaren
Epicurean - Allows you to receive double the stats from Well Fed effects.
Horde
Blood Elf
Arcane Torrent - Silence all enemies within 8 yards for 2 seconds and restore 2% of your Mana. Non-player victim spellcasting is also interrupted for 3 seconds.
Troll
Berserking - Increases your melee, ranged, and spell haste by 20% for 10 seconds.
Goblin
Time is money 1% increase to attack speed and spell haste.
Pandaren
Epicurean - Allows you to receive double the stats from Well Fed effects.
3.Talents
Tier 1 talents: Crowd-control abilities
Void Tendrils roots up to 5 enemies in place for up to 20 seconds. Killing the tendrils cancels the effects.
Psyfiend spawns a friendly NPC that casts fears on nearby enemies. Its cast can be interupted.
Dominate Mind the priest take control of an player or a mob for 30 seconds.
Tier 2 talents: Abilities that grant movement speed.
Angelic Feather the priest places a feather on the ground, if an ally walk on it, he will move 80% faster for 6 seconds
Body and Soul whenever the priest uses Power Word: Shield on an ally, that player will move 40% faster for 4 seconds. This effect won't work if the target is affected by Weakened Soul, or if Leap of Faith is on cooldown.
Phantasm is more of a PvP talent. It removes any movement imparing effects from the priest, and his movement speed is unhindered for 5 seconds.
Tier 3 talents: Abilities that enhance your performance
From darkness comes light your DoT from Vampiric Touch have a 20% chance to cause your next Mind Spike to be instant, to deal 50% more damage and not to consume your active DoT effects.
Mindbender is an improved version of Shadowfiend.Mindbender have lower cooldown and it deals more damage, but replaces Shadowfiend.
Insanity casting Mind Flay while your target is affected by Devouring Plague causes your Mind Flay 33% additional damage per orb consumed by Devouring Plague .
Tier 4 talents: Survivability abilities
Desperate Prayer instantly heals the caster for 30% of their total HP. It have 2 minutes cooldown.
Spectral Guise allows you to enter in stealth, leaving behind an illusion of yourself. The effect lasts for 6 seconds, or until you receive 3 attacks.
Angelic Bulwark each time you drop below 30% health, this passive ability will grant you a damage absorption shield for 20% of your maximul health. The effect has a cooldown of 90 seconds.
Tier 5 talents: Abilities that enhance your performance
Twist of fate passively increases your damage and healing by 15% for 10 seconds, each time you damage or heal a target that is below 35% health.
Power infusion this ability is increasing your spell casting speed by 20%, and reducing all abilities mana cost by 20%, for 20 seconds. This ability got 2 minutes cooldown. * This ability is perfect for short fights, when Twist of fate won't make a big difference in your DPS.
Divine Insight your DoT from Shadow word: Pain have a 5% chance to reset the cooldown of your Mind blast and to make it to be instant cast and to cost no mana.
Tier 6 talents: Abilities that deal damage and heal to multiple targets.
Cascade The initial bolt heals or deals damage to its first target, after which it splits in two, each bolt jumping to targets that are far away, until it eventually stops.
Divine Star casts a star that travels 24 yards in the front of you that deals damage to all enemies and healing all allies withing 4 yards of its path.
Halo creates a ring around you that quickly expands, up to 30 yards. This ability is more effective as its travel distance is bigger. It deals heal to its allies and damage to its enemies.
4.Stats
Intelect > Hit > Haste > Mastery > Crit
What does each stats do?
*Intellect is your primary stat. You should look for this stat in all of your upgrades. It provides you with Spell Power, which increases your abilities damage.
*Spirit is the equal of Hit chance. For example, 100 spirit = 100 hit. You need to aim for your Hit chance first, that hit cap is 15.00% ( 5100 ). If you can't reforge in hit or spirit anymore, but you still need more hit chance, you can reforge or use a gem with expertise. Expertise = hit, but only for casters ( mage warlock.. etc ).
*Haste reduces the cast time, and increases the speed at which Damage over Time spells tick. With enough haste, you can add additional ticks.
*Crit gives your spells a chance to deal double their normal damage.
*Our mastery is Shadowy Recall. Shadowy Recall gives your periodic shadow damage spells a 14% chance to deal damage twice, each time they deal damage.

7. Tips and rotation
This is the best combination for long fights and for many fights in throne of thunder,
but if the fight is too short for
Twist of fate , you can try this combination:
Best choise of races:
For Alliance, the best choise is the Worgen, for that crit, after that, but the pandaren is a good choise too.
For Horde, the best choise is the troll, for that haste, after that goblin and then the pandaren.
*Human and blood elf are better for PVP.
Rotation
When you start a fight, you have to have 2 orbs, at least ( you can start with 3 orbs too).
