Tanaan Jungle

Tanaan Jungle is a new outdoor zone added in Patch 6.2 Warlords of Draenor. Similar to the Timeless Isle in Mists of Pandaria, Tanaan Jungle is filled with rare spawns, treasures, easy gearing options, and new battle pet challenges! It’s also got new Apexis Dailies, four new factions, and the new crafting material Felblight.

Tanaan Jungle is needed for the Draenor Pathfinder achievement, you need Revered with three Tanaan factions. For more details on Draenor Pathfinder, check out this Flying in Draenor Guide.

Unlocking Tanaan
Before you explore Tanaan Jungle, you first have to unlock it.

Horde

• The Invasion of Tanaan ports you to Tanaan Jungle after a short cutscene in your Shipyard.
  
  
• Once in Tanaan, Obstacle Course sends you to to get Letter from Kilrogg (at 68.9, 64.9), and Magril's Journal (at 74.0, 56.2).
  
  
• In, Through, and Beyond!: Run up the hill, dodging cannon fire, and destroy the Fel Cannon using the artillery.
  
  
• The Assault Base: Follow your escort and plant the banner for your city (Vol’mar)
  
  
• At this point, you are granted Improved Logistics, which increases the size of your Garrison Cache to 750.

Your basic faction hub is now unlocked, but several more quests are needed to unlock daily quests:

• The Battle for the West: Talk to Durotan at the Iron Front, the westernmost part of Tanaan. There is a direct flight available from your city.
  
  
• Commander in the Field!: Talk to three scouts scattered around Tanaan, eventually making your way back to your base. The scouts are located near three additional flight paths.
  
  
• The Command Table inside your Tanaan city now offers a choice of two daily quests.

Alliance
