Bug description:
1. It doesn't benefit from mastery. (Source 1 & Source 2)
2. Attack power scaling is wrong. I have run multiple tests in SimulationCraft 5.4.7, made some calculations and found out the coefficient should be 57.8%. Currently, on Freakz, it's about 45% (same as on Cata). I was not able to find information on the coefficient so I calculated it myself.
Here is everything I know about Gargoyle Strike.
Base damage: 468 - 778 => 623 average base damage (taken from freakz spell finder).
Deals Plague Damage (Nature + Shadow, a.k.a. Shadowstorm Damage) which fully benefits from mastery.
Attack Power Coefficient 57,8% (proof below)
So the formula would be: (623 + AP * 0.578) * 1.mastery% (i.e. 1.2612 if you have 26,12% mastery)

The logs included in separate links contain my character stats in the beginning - Core Stats and Attack Stats - as well as Gargoyle Strike's damage.
I calculated using the lowest values of damage and base damage.
Four different tests were ran in Simcraft.
1. Situation 1 - the character has no gear, except for a weapon with 1-2 damage.
2. Situation 2 - the character has the same gear as I have on PTR now, so it replicates my stats with high accuracy.
3. Situation 3 - the character wears T15N, but with no trinkets or proc enchants, so stats won't modify during the simulation.
4. A test with Simcraft patch 5.1, the patch right before Gargoyle received the Mastery buff (also before Unholy Might buff), using my PTR gear.

Mastery not working:
Gargoyle summoned with 26%mastery
Gargoyle summoned with 37% mastery
Also, with 23922 AP he deals 11312 damage, which means AP coefficient is ~45%

I would like someone to double check my math, although I am 99% sure it's correct, I re-checked using the formula and the SimCraft damage results and the highest error was +- 5 damage. (with a bit of help from weitrem)

If more proof is needed, I can post some more calculations (I would have to re-do them) which I made using AP / mastery values and gargoyle dmg values from a video.

Either way, mastery scaling doesn't work for Gargoyle, and even if 57,8% is not the correct value, then neither is 45% because techincally it's the old Cata value.
