WoW Freakz link: Every single rppm trinket in the game
Bug description: Until procced once, there is a set number to proc, for example if server crashes during the raid/ you will relog you wont get your proc at the burst. Kinda annoying to most pve players who have them.
Proof: Easy to test, just proc it once, wait around 3 minutes, you'll get around 100% proc chance. Then relog and your proc chance goes to around 1% and you have to proc it at dummy or wherever, to make the rppm work.

Idk much about this, but it may be because of anti-bad-luck system, maybe it counts even if you're not in combat (i may be wrong)

Move this back to Other... Trinket list topic was there and this should be there just aswell , as its not related to PvE ( doesnt happen in raids only )

Confirm, after relog or when you first log into the game trinkets take a long time to proc but after the first proc they work properly.

Not sure this is a bug, it's intended: the proc chance is calculated taking LAST_PROC in consideration. When you login, LAST_PROC = never/right now, so the anti-bad-luck system is reset to 0

Well its avoidable by simply proccing trinkets before the raid so I guess you can close it.

Actually I now see what you're talking about. When you login, the anti-bad-luck-system doesn't start counting yet. If you start combat after 10 minutes after login, the anti-bad-luck-system begins counting only then, and after ~1-2 minutes the anti-bad-luck-system will most likely increase your proc chance to 100%.
Proof it shouldn't be like this?

Well obviously there is no way of bringing proof for that but just think about it. If there is a server crash (happened few Times) midraid and noone can get their procs its making the thing harder. Cant you just make antibad luck system work since you appear on the server? I know there is no proof for that but IT makes no logic to be like that.

I can do that, BUT it would cause the following situation: each time you login and start combat AFTER A FEW MINUTES, all your RPPM trinkets WILL 100% proc... that sounds...lame

Well its almost how is it right now. I always proc them instantly after i login and it takes from first hit up to 5 minutes and i have no idea what is causing it. I can do the same 30 minutes after logging in and the chance still will be set to a certain % and i will have to dps dummy for from 1 second to 5 minutes to proc it the first time to get the chance reseted. As i said i have no clue how is it right now about the first proc.

Well, we need to know how blizz handles this, how did they prevent this situation? Thinking

Found this
Quote:
Changing zones (or logging in) resets the "bad luck streak prevention" timer, so you can raise the chance that your trinkets proc on the next pull by not releasing after a raid wipe. Kind of an annoying feature

Ok then i guess it works same as blizz but the difference here is the combat bugs in raids, so we have to relog to get rid of it in order to change specs and talents and this is what makes it even more annoying.

This means that there's no other fix we should do (and people should stop with the "RPPM bugged on first proc" myth), am I right?

This is a totally different issue (not sure it's even a general issue at all, various combat bugs were fixed), please open a separate topic
