PvP solo queue ?

I think duo queue is not fun since the guy solo queing will always be in disadvantage compared to those duo queing. Or if you decide to make duo que viable then make it so enemy team has to contain duo as well.
Personally i think solo queue is going to ruin whole thing but its up to you, however im looking towards this

Finally I agree with everything people said. If you add rating for solo q (5v5 bracket) and if you add some rewards, make it more competitive I think this could be really popular and attract more people to come to this server.
@Madau: I think 1650 is too low, I checked armory today and there's over 600 char. with 1650+. Requirement should be higher, 1.7k at least maybe 1750.

In my opinion you or anybody else have no excuse why you don't have 1750 ach. The only reason why you can't get it is because you are bad, and we don't need/want bad players in 3s. Get more gear and if you know to play a little bit you'll get 1750 without problems. As for partner problem, spam global or ask around in durotar/elwynn forest (you don't need awesome partner to get 1750).

Now to the original topic, you should also put IL requirement cause, as you can see there are people that think that they can solo q with 488 IL. Since this is MoP and gear means a lot I suggest 505-510IL at least.

@Ryan You can't really have any problem getting 1750 man,there is literally no chance to have trouble getting it.If you can't get it,you really have to be a beginner to the game that doesn't feel the game and have no clue at all,like Yakul said,you shouldn't even play 3s if you're not cappable of getting that trash rating.

As for the Item Level requirement,we really need this since this is not an instant 90 server with free starter gear,so you really need to put the ilevel requirement of at least full tyrannical which is normal in my opinion.There is no way to ban lowbies,there will always be someone that will fail the whole matchup,but that will rarely happen.The game itself becomes easier with new expansions coming and Mists of Pandaria is one of those expansions that made people go from 2k to 2700 at least,so there shouldn't be any problem at all.

Make it Full s13 ilevel requirement(no clue how much that is) or higher than that.Good job to the people that mentioned adding this.

The point of this system is to join solo, so you don't need to search for a partner anymore. You get rid of searching for a partner for 3v3, but in order to have this luxury, you make it mandatory for 2v2, how *** up is that? Where's the ***' logic?
And if you are afraid you'll team up only with newbies, no problem, MMR system will do the job. After a while nabs will team up with nabs and pros with pros, simple as that.

Pretty much sums it up. Its called solo que for a good reason. Being able to duo just doesn't make sense, if you wanna play with friends play 2s/3s. If you think u'll get matched with noobs, well everyone has equal chances to play with them. Anyway if you are good enough you will be able to carry those worse than you.

Add 3s solo q but not duo q, that is disgusting or rather don't implement anything because even if u implement the 3s solo q i am pretty sure that isn't a motiviation for players that never que in that bracket. But yet again it is just an opinion.

I agree that duo q would be kind of unfair vs triple solo q, but I disagree with the 2nd part of your post. There's already a 3v3 vendor with some mounts and tabards (few more items should be added maybe), so I don't know any other way to convince other players to try 3v3. It's a good thing and I doubt that anything bad can come out of this.

this is a very good idea.
Here are my thoughts about what would make it work.

- no duo queue in the solo 3v3 bracket. That's why is solo - to randomly get into a 3 man team and play vs another randomly selected team.

- only 1 heal + 2 dps teams can be generated

- requirements for being able to queue for games - this is a little bit tricky. Something that would track if the player has the basic understandings of the game and decent gear.
I would say 1550 rating achievement(to get that you must win ~20 games) in 2v2 and the minimum equivalent ilvl of almost full honor gear + 3-4 pieces of crafted gear. Edit - if I think about it.. the minimum ilvl should be at full honor or higher.. maybe ~500 ilvl

-team generating based on that bracket mmr.

-rewards - for this not to overshadow 2v2 and 3v3 ..
- I would put the conquest gains at half
- I wouldn't raise the conq cap based on rate.. meaning if you want higher cap the player should raise his 2s/3s rate.
- I would reward the top 3 players at the end of the season with the lowest arena title - I believe it's Challenger.

Almost 2 weeks passed, and seems like people are done with voting and it's obvious that people want this. I want to hear what's your plan. @Shocker and other GMs. How much time do you need to put this feature into the game.
