Did you watch the videos?
You should pay with the same coin.
They are spells and when they miss or they are resisted DoT's won't be applied.
I want to see a video where Icy Touch, Howling Blast or Chains of Ice apply Frost Fever while Cloak of Shadows is up. MoP or 5.4.8 patch.

Cloak of Shadows should resist Frost Fever applied via Icy Touch, Chains of Ice or Howling Blast. This is 100% valid.

Patch 5.4.8: Asphyxiate and Soul Reaper apply on Rogue while Cloak of Shadows is up because they are physical school abilities.

That's what i said.
It's possible for Plague Strike to apply DoTs because it's physical.




That's patch 5.2 and may be Beta.
Watch the other videos (5.4.8) and see how Frost Fever is resisted by Cloak of Shadows.

(9:57). Also it's shown in combat log(scrolling down right side[9:58]) that Chains of Ice misses because it's resisted by Cloak of Shadows, therefore Frost Fever is not applied.
