is this a joke? you were asked to add legion starting gear so that people wont have to go through hell basically naked with that useless mop gear. making 110 rep gear available for 110 characters won't change a damn shit. you want people to go through your content when an elemental shaman needs roughly a minute to beat a legion npc. whatever you're trying to achieve is thoughtless and you're making everything difficult for us and for yourself.

i.e. the nightmare area has about 5 times more trash gathered there than it is supposed to. i'm not quite sure how your thought process works, because according to what you've done so far, it's clear to me that no devs actually play legion on retail to know how stuff looks like. there are barely a few quests that are possible to complete and not even those have even a half decent environment to be completed in. piles and piles of useless npc's gathered up to kill your gearless character. get your shit together

I'm sure that you only wanted to point out a few things, but the way you did that is not constructive. I know you'll say that you 'heard this shit before', 'gtfo' and other stuff like that, but I'm not here to argue with you or tell you that you are a bad person for talking this way.

I'm here to assure you that people are actually doing their jobs, according to this particular topic some are even paid to do it. What you should actually consider is the fact that building a WoW private server involves a lot more work from the people that contribute than it does for a company that has thousands of employees. It is a system, a collective effort that is dependent on the whole community to improve and sustain itself.

Therefore, even though some of the suggestions aren't implemented right away, or not at all, you should not get anxious. Maybe there are good reasons behind these decisions or maybe these guys hadn't had the time to add them to the PTR realm.

What should you do instead? You could try to support a certain suggestion with solid arguments (your reply contains solid arguments already) written in a constructive and non-agressive manner. People will certainly read and eventually they will have a debate whether to implement that suggestion. After the decision was taken, they will answer here and present some of the important reasons that support their decision.

All of us who are eager to play on the new realm of this server must keep in mind the fact that a small team works really hard in order to provide the best possible experience when the official start of the realm will take place, hence we should support them however we can, without losing our temper or acting impolitely.

Really important! I just want to state again that I think you seem to make really good points which support Saturn's suggestion (and probably other aspects as well) and I'm confident that you will further contribute to this community in a slightly less aggressive fashion.

Hello.
I want to make a comparisson between todays legion ptr and mop ptr that was a few years ago.
Then there was no gear problem since there was a nice npc in the jade forest that provided us gear good enough to start MoP content (372 greens from dawn' blossom). I remember going through hell the first days of MoP but managing to level through the zones.

Here on Legion PTR we are given either 522 gear for everyone except DH who have 600+ basic gear(not going to mention the artifact weapon).
You are giving pleyers the option of boosting level to 110 but not giving the gear needed to start doing the Legion content.

Most of us,including me, don't care in the slightest about warlords.The server you are advertiseing is LEGION,we want as much of legion as we can but there are not enough people eager to level through draenor just to get the gear necessary to not be killed by a mob in Stormheim.

The people active on the ptr realm went from it's peak of 1000 players to 30-100 players that are mostly active on the server.
I started as a dh (like many) when the realm was released and helped how i could by posting starting zone bugs (not so many but i did some)
What would be nice as suggested before is to have a vendor that sells 670 or 700+ ilvl gear do we can get started with the legion expansion.
Back on the MoP ptr if we had this problem the npc that i talked about would sell WOTLK gear and gave you nothing else than the level 90 to fight MoP(basicly naked if you get my alusion). A npc that sells everything is ok,we will pick what gear we need

That's not possible, there is a client side limitation of the amount of items that a vendor can sell (and that limit is very low). We need to place explicit items. I'll ask the GMs to do a vendor, if anyone else wants to help do it, we need list of ITEM IDS (not names, not anything else, but IDS).

This ilvl should be enough not to die to mobs throughout the broken isles and going through all the phases of bosses in dungeon finder(so they can be properly scripted without skipping phases).

Also enabled the 3rd reloc slot for artifacts, should be all good now (just re-equip your artifact to unlock it)
