launcher error

Hi,

i downloaded the game from your torrent.
i am getting the following error when i try to run game using launcher

yes i have already checked the topic and downloaded the game after reading the same.

The error seems to be due to windows 10 not allowing the changing of data folder from read only.

i am trying to copy the game to another version of windows and check whether it runs there.
i will update you regarding the same.
In the mean time please give any possible suggest incase anyone has faced similar issue.

1. Right-click into your WoW folder and uncheck the read-only check box.

2. Go to your WoW folder/Data and delete the folder called indices.

3. Now delete the Cache folder in the main game directory if there is one. (If it doesn't exist, just ignore this step).

4. Now restart your computer. The game should launch now.

Thanks a lot for taking out time to help.

I tried all steps as you told me to, but the problem with windows 10 is that it doesnt let me change the folder from read only to other type.

i am trying to sort it out from another pc with windows 7.
hope it works that way. will update you with the info.


**UPDATE:
I tried everything that has been suggested and also tried to launch from another version of windows.
The same error is still displayed. is it possible to fix this in any way??
The MOP version works fine on my PC and Lappy.
