Affli / demo : doomed ???

Hey warlock lovers,
I have been seeing a lot of legion pvp videos ...
My opinion: We warlocks are just going doomed, destroyed..hate u blizz and ur stupid class designs for warlock...
Hard-cast , every spell is hardcast...no instants....UA costs soul shard, haunt has cd....
Demo is sooooooo horribly boring...

Finally class exclusive mount : Really? One more green felsteed with more horns >.<


Anyone care to feed some positive thoughts on my most favourite class ?

If you want some positive thoughts, about Warlocks in Legion here they are !

Affliction: You are the King of Multidotting. Even if they removed Soup Swap, you still put big pressure on enemy team, and now you are more tanky than ever, with talents like Siphon Life. And lastly, I consider that Reap Soul(Artifact Weapon Ability) is the best, as long as you can get traits on it. Overall Affliction is the same, you dot everything and you are hard to kill.

Demonology: In my opinion, I must agree with you. I also consider, that Demonology is a boring spec, but one shots with Thal'kael Consumption are always fun. The tricky thing about Demonology is that most people forget that their demons do so much crazy damage, and they tend to forget about them and find themselves dead, in a couple of seconds.

Destruction: Nothing to add, I still find it the NO-BRAIN spec of all three.

But if I not mistaken, siphon life is nerfed for affli spec in upcoming patch update...i think I read drain life is removed and made exclusive to destro/demo spec..

Warlocks scale much better with the recent patch as they did with Legion launch. By the end of the expansion Warlock will be topping DPS meters as always.

Warlocks are super handy in legion and they then by no means doomed. I always try to have one or two in my raids on retail.

Don't worry about warlocks, they are a pure dps class, and their sole role is obviosly to dps. From my knowledge pure dps class tend to be Top 10 in recount. Even if a spec performs not that great compared to the other two, that doesn't mean the class won't be topping meters.

Right now, I am playing on another legion server, and honestly destro lock, 2 shots anything that moves with chaos bolt, critting over 800k on each chaos bolt, I don't kow if it's a bug or that's how it should work. 1,2 sec per chaos bolt, so warlock kills anything in 2,4 seconds. Tho I hope this is not intended and is bugged.

Chaos bolt in legion has been buffed and nerfed..buffed interms of cast time..due to an artifact trait , it is now 1.5 sec cast + backdraft = fashhhhter chaos bolt..but the dmg has been nerfed in 7.2 by 100%... Since u r playing 7.0 , yes the dmg is 200% and crazy as hell....
Destro lock is at a viable place cuz chaos bolt is less than 1.5 sec now....thays why I dint include it in discussion..but affli and demo on the other hand, seem pretty fked up...

with some experience of warlock on retail affli and destro would be go to specs for the current patch freakz is going to release also since someone mentioned Demo is very boring to actually play and wont serve much purpose since in 7.1 both affli and destro got buffed in some way or the other.

I'm not agreed with you and with anyone who said Demo is BORING spec.I will never ever play Affli.( dot/dot/dot o.O ) because its brainless spec in my opinion.That spec is for everyone who want to do easy dmg ,pressing 2 buttons

For Demonology spec you need brain and think about all your moves and do a little bit effort to do dmg and it was top 3 ,but on Freakz will be top 15,because every bug reported its ejected/closed/deleted. ( I`m very thankfull :/ ).

btw. I want to see when a Demo Lock will reach 2k+ mmr in PVP on Freakz/Felsong.
