After downloading the entire game via uTorrent and following every step in the guide I keep getting the same error about the CAS system: "The CAS system was unable to initalize: ClientHandler: initlization error: failed fetching the CDN configuration file".

Now I have searched the entire forum for a solution, like redownloading the launcher, deleting the config file and downloading the alternate config files for in the data folder, redownloading the entire game, giving authorization to the wow.exe files and entire WoW map, "trying" to uncheck Read Only in my Data folder. Whenever I uncheck this at the Data folder and apply and press OK the changes don't seem to save itself, it goes back to being checked whenever I check properties again. And at the moment my game is located in C:Games/WoW-Legion, not sure if there's a problem with that.

So I am getting kind of desperate and frustrated because nothing seems to be working, I really hope someone could give me some more advice on how to fix this problem, I'd love to play Legion on this server since MoP is dead now.
Thanks in advance.

- Show screenshot of error
- Show file contents of main wow folder
- Did you try both config archives from the download page or just one?

I did try both config archive files.
Hope you can help me out, on occasions it shows me the page with "press any key to continue..." but after that I get the same error again.
Once it showed "Launching wow-Freakz.exe-64..." as I tried all the launchers in the file, this give the error that it was outdated.

I got the same error from the first picture, the problem with mine was that I DID NOT have Read-Only unchecked on properties of the data folder. Make sure that is unchecked and then try launching it again through launcher_freakz -

I have tried to uncheck it many many times, seems that the settings don't remain saved. Once I uncheck them and press apply and ok the settings are gone the next time I check properties. So its checked again.

Yeah it goes back to checked automatically but does it still give you the error if you try to open the game?

Yes it does... The error persists with whatever settings I change!
That's why I really need help haha. Isn't there like a Data file I can download which works?

Why did you extract launcher_23420.zip archive contents TO A SEPARATE FOLDER "launcher_23420" ? You must extract those files in the main wow folder (C:\\Games\\WoW_Legion_Torrent in your case), and you should have 2 files there "ffreakz / .freakz" and .build.info

Mmm dumb me haha, my unzip program works kind of funny apparently... But it doesn't solve the error! I'm still getting it. Could you show me a screenshot of all the files that need to be in the main folder? Something else may have gone wrong with unzipping.

Everything looks ok. Unfortunately I don't have any other ideas. Only thing you can do is try ALL the solutions posted on the download page, even if they seem to not be for your situation...
