Info:Tom Hanks este cãpitanul Richard Phillips, a cãrui navã de transport MV Maersk Alabama a fost deturnatã de pirații somalezi în anul 2009, devenind prima navã de transport americanã capturatã de pirați în ultimele douã secole. Filmul regizat de Paul Greengrass prezintã evenimentele tragice petrecute la bordul navei și încercãrile disperate ale armatei SUA de a salva echipajul condus de cãpitanul Phillips. La baza filmului se aflã cartea acestuia, "Datoria unui cãpitan: Pirați somalezi, soldați americani și zile periculoase pe mare".
