"Can't correctly launch patched wow, you might be using an outdated one"

I put the new 4 freakz launcher files into WoW folder.
I tried with: Interface + WTF from 7.1.5, automatically generated Interface + WTF, WTF + Interface from new Freakz launcher zip
In each case I get this same error. What seems to be the problem?

Have you tried to run the new launcher with administrator privileges? Also make sure to remove Read Only from your entire WoW folder. You also shouldn't be using the WTF folder from 7.1.5, use the new one from the new launcher folder.

Hi miss,

I tried removing the read-only to no avail, even checked files individually and nothing... Used the new folder... Tried as admin as well, but nothing seemed to work. So instead I'll just do the download-as-you-play thing, only thing that worked. Still, Thanks for the help! <3

I'm sorry to hear that none of the solutions have worked, but at least you're able to play with the launcher. I hope it's not too much of an issue.
