Bug description: Doom should have chances to crit equal to your critical strike chance. My char has 26% crit plus 2% with mark of the claw up arround 30% of the time. I did tests on both the dummy from my class hall and the one in orgrimmar for fights lasting 2-3min and the crit chance of the skill was much lower than it should have been (like 6-10% crits). In battles lasting 2-3mins doom has an very unreliable crit chance, even with quite a good amount of hits 10-15. Its crit chance only starts to normalize at arround 5mins, with is quite unreal for most of the fights incluiding trash and boss fight except raid bosses.

I hope there's something to be done as doom also gets affected by another bug due to haste procs making this fun yet understimated spec be so despised.

in the battle lasting 5 min you show yourself that your crit is 28%, and the amount of crits by doom was 25%, this is within reason for a 5 minute fight.
Please provide actual proof showing that it doesnt work properly.

I mostly do dungeon runs and m+ keys, but i will try to get some raid encounters.

My doom procs every 13-14s so thats another 5mins or so fight.

And one from a hc dungeon, in which i tried to use nothing but doom, as you know it's hard to proc doom on low level mob.

I don't know if it has something to do with the talent Hand of Doom, which i also use, but in that last screen i used both ways to aply doom and ended with a very very lower chance overall.

It seems that the first amount of ticks, lets say 5 or 7 are always normal hits and after some time you start getting some crits.

Ran another test with the trio dummy on orgrimmar and added a timer on top.

As you can see i only get a few crits between the 10 a 20 ticks, but after that it starts to ramp up fast and stays at arround 25%. I know crit chance is individual for every tick, hit or proc, but this behaveiour seems odd and different from other characters i've tried.

As you said yourself the crit chance stays at about 25%, this is within the expectation and is not enough to say whether somethings bugged.
