Character Deletion Endlessly Loads/Does Not Complete

I deleted this character a few days ago.
I remembered later that I hadn't mailed the remaining gold on the character to my main.
I used the WoW Freakz character list recovery tool to retrieve the character and make the transaction. (https://www.wow-freakz.com/character_list.php)
Now when I try to delete the character again, the client remains in continuous loading "deleting character" (yellow spinning ring) at the character selection screen.

I appreciate your time in reviewing this. I did not find any other more appropriate/specific thread to post this under.

Try deleting after next server restart

Also delete your wow cache folder
