Minimap icons are very dim

Bug description: All minimap icons since I started playing have been dim as if I'm inside a building and everything else is outside, or I'm outside and the icons are located inside of a cave. Haven't been able to figure out why, or how to change it. Either a bug or a setting I've not discovered? Please help or submit a bug report offiially, please!
