Tiny Terrors in Tanaan is an achievement for defeating all of the 15 Tanaan Legendary Pets. Each defeat (once per day) will grant Fel-Touched Pet Supplies for a chance to loot pets, bandages, charms and leveling stones. Each of them have the ability Fel Corruption which gives them 50% increased damage done, -50% damage taken and does medium to high Elemental AoE damage to all your pets.

I made this guide because I had so many struggles trying to kill each one of them. Mainly because Freakz current Pet Battle system is in many ways very different from retail, so some of the strategies I came accross just didn't cut it.
After trying over 40 different pets, spells, interactions, etc., I came up with some interesting combinations that I hope will help those of you that also are having trouble with this achievement. Any questions or comments are welcome.

Disclaimer:
- Bring
Battle Pet Bandages because you mail fail a lot against them. RNG plays a big factor here.
- This guide is based 100% on Freakz, stats and bugs taken into account.
- You can use similar pets (that have the same spells to be used, stats, race and/or breed)
- These tactics are not 100% buttletproof but they are doable and don't require exploits.

AQUATIC

Mirecroak (1694 / 413 / 413)
Acid Rain: Does small to medium AoE damage to all your pets, heals him a bit and makes the weather a Cleansing Rain (25%+ damage to aquatic abilities).
Frog Kiss: With good RNG you will never get asleep and he won't land (many) strong attacks of this ability increased in damage with every use and powered by Cleansing Rain.

Suggested Counters 1 : Alpine Foxling / Gilnean Raven x2 (276+ speed)

Start with Alpine Foxling or any Dazzling Dance then Howl.
Immediately switch to Raven and use Nocturnal Strike.
Given its 50% hit chance, you will rely on RNG for it to hit and do a lovely 1k. If it does, you're golden.
Then change the weather with Call Darkness and spam Peck for 3 rounds maximum.
Assuming your third pet is still alive above 50% HP and Mirecroak is still alive, switch to it and use its Nocturnal Strike.
Alternatively, you could switch to your third pet much earlier, right after your first Raven used Call Darkness and use Nocturnal Strike.

Suggested Counters 2 : Chrominius / Emerald Proto-Whelp (341 power) / Shimmershell (1900+ HP)

You start with Chrominius using Howl and then Surge of Power, the latter ideally doing over 1k damage. After that Chrominius will die most likely.
All odds in your favor, you switch to Emerald to spam Emerald Bite a couple of times till Mirecroak dies.
If for any reason Mirecroak didn't die, go for Shimmershell Snail with a medium damage ability like Dive and spam whatever other damaging ability if needed.

Tainted Maulclaw (2163 / 366 / 366)
Infected Claw: Does relatively low to medium damage.
Shell Shield: I love this spell because you get to survive more and dent him more times with a same pet.

Suggested Counters 1: Chrominius / Emerald Proto-Whelp (341 power)

Start with Chrominius using Howl followed by Surge of Power.
If Chrominius lives after that, spam Bite till it does.
Next switch to Emerald to cast Proto Strike, Emerald Bite or Breath, and spam the last two till Maulclaw dies.

Suggested Counters 2: Chrominius / Anodized Robo Cub (1800+ HP)

We use powercombo of Chrominius' Howl followed by Surge of Power.
He will die after this, and you will swith to the Robo Cub also to use his power combo of Supercharge > Demolish.
Assuming decent RNG, you will be able to land an additional Demolish to end him.

BEAST

Chaos Pup (1694 / 319 / 459)
Howl: you receive twice the damage from any of his next abilities.
Bite: Unbuffed does medium to high damage.

Suggested Counters: Anubisath Idol / Anodized Bear Cub (1800+ HP)

Spam Anubisath's Demolish but when you see Chaos Pup used Howl, you want to use Deflection to waste his next buffed attack (and don't even cast Sandstorm).
When Anubisath is dead, switch to Anodized to finish Chaos off also spamming Demolish.
This strategy relies in RNG due to Demolish's 50% hit chance.
Forfeit if anything fails and try again.

Corrupted Thundertail (2163 / 413 / 319)
Devour: Heals for a great deal if he kills you while using this.
Tail Slap: Does medium damage.

Suggested Counters 1: Anodized Bear Cub (1800+ HP) / Anubisath Idol

Go first with Anodized using Supercharge followed by Demolish (similar to Chrominius combo).
Make sure your RNG is good and you will have hit Thundertail for over 1k damage.
If Demolished failed to hit, I recommend forfeiting and starting over till it does because every move counts.

Suggested Counters 2 : Effervescent Glowfly (300+ power and 215+ speed) / Mei Li Sparkler / Shimmering Aquafly

The main thing is make him die just from dots and this has great synergy with the fact that Flying takes 30% less damage from Beast attacks.
Start with your highest power flying insect pet using Glowing Toxin and then Confusing Sting.
Try to use them again but switch the pet if you think he might die next turn with Devour.
Alternatively you can switch to next pet right after placing those two dots.
Your following pet has the same skill set (Mei Li), so use those two abilities in the same order.
After that, supposing your third pet is not dead or low in HP, switch to it and cast Lift-Off.
This being in the air immune allows for an extra turn of you surviving and him losing a good bunch of his HP thanks to the dots.
If all goes well your Lift-Off (or the like) ability has landed and he will have died from that and dots.

ELEMENTAL

Defiled Earth (2631 / 506 / 319)
Stone Rush: At the moment this spell is bugged so instead of him taking a portion of the damage he will do it fully to your current pet, totaling at least 1k damage.
Quake: Does low to medium AoE damage.

Suggested Counters: Spring Strider / Shimmershell Snail (1969 HP) / Chrominius

Pop Strider's Soothe and then a Cleansing Rain.
Next move go for your Snail and use Acidic Goo > Dive.
Let Dive hit and try to remain one to soak a possible Stone Rush.
Switch back to Strider and use Soothe again.
Next up bring Chrominius for his Howl > Surge.
Sleeping gives free turns for switching pets and placing debuffs without being attacked.
The dot plus the two nukes should be able to kill him but if not, try to finish him off with another pet or forfeit to try again.

Direflame (1928 / 366 / 413)
Scorched Earth: This weather is dangerous in that it buffs his other spell and does consistent damage to your pets.
Deep Burn: Does medium to high damage.

Suggested Counters : Spring Strider / Young Mutant Warturtle / Magical Crawdad / Pandaren Water Spirit / Shimmershell Snail (1969 HP)

One of the things to keep in mind is we wanna change Scorched Earth weather to Cleansing rain so it's advised to use for either second or third round.
Direflame's usual rotation goes like Fel Corruption > Scorched Earth or FC > SE > Deep Burn.
That said, you could cast Pump twice or just once then Cleansing Rain then Pump again.
I recommend forfeiting if Direflame overrode your Rain weather.
You may wanna try the Pump combo again or switch to Magical Crawdad then immediately cast Whirlpool.
Then you could either go for Renewing Mists and then Surge or simply spam Surge till Whirlpool procs and Direflame dies.
An alternative to Crawdad is Pandaren Water Spirit, who also has Whirlpool and Dive, both of which have great synergy (waiting for Whirlpool to hit while being immune for a round in the air). If you don't have Crawdad or Spirit, you could go for Shimmershell Snail who has Acidic Goo and Dive combo.

FLYING

Bleakclaw (2163 / 413 / 319)
Lift-Off: Goes up being immune and next turn lands a powerful attack.
Savage Talon: Not a big threat against Dragonkin pets.

Suggested Counters: Chrominius / Emerald Proto-Whelp (341 power) / Nexus Whelpling

Golden team against Flying pets.
They take 30% less damage from Flying attacks and yet have Magic attacks which are 50% stronger against Flying.
Starting with Chrominius, his combo Howl > Surge can do over 1.5k damage in one hit.
Even though he must recharge for 2 rounds, he might actually survive.
In this case you could cast a Howl before he dies or go immediately for either Nexus or Proto-Whelp to finish him off.
If that didn’t work, try again for better RNG.

Felfly (1928 / 366 / 318)
Confusing Sting: Small damage dot.
Barbed Stinger: Small damage dot.

Suggested Counters: Chrominius / Emerald Proto-Whelp (341 power)

Go for Chrominius Howl > Surge of Power. If it survives, cast another Howl.
Next up bring Proto-Whelp and cast an Emerald Bite.
Throw in some more Emerald Bites if needed.

HUMANOID

Netherfist (1928 / 459 / 319)
Haymaker: This will likely mostly hit, which makes for a high attack. It may bring your first pet to half HP.
Crush: Medium to high damage.

Suggested Counters: Alpine Foxling / Ghastly Rat / Ghostly Skull (1800+ HP)

Netherfist has 319 speed so your Alpine Foxling will cast Dazzling Dance then Howl without issue.
Whether he dies or not, you should switch to Ghastly Rat which will benefit so much from the 25% increase in speed.
He might take one hit after switching but then you hit with Ghostly Bite which ideally will do more than 1k damage. Since he will be stunned, go for Rabid Strike.
Next turn he can attack again but since you will have higher speed, you can cast one or two more Rabid Strikes.
Worst case scenario, Netherfirst didn’t die yet but you have a Ghostly Skull to clean up with a fresh Ghostly Bite.

Skrillix (1694 / 366 / 459)
Dodge: Nothing need be said except this is a very annoying spell.
Punch
: Does medium to high damage.

Suggested Counters 1: Feline Familiar / Pandaren Monk / Shimmershell Snail (1969 HP)

You want Feline Familiar to cast Prowl followed by an Onyx Bite.
The choice is either dump a normal Onyx Bite on Skrillix to consume his Dodge debuff before that or simply just use them right away if good RNG permits.
After that was successful (you landed a 1k+ crit or strong attack) cast Call Darkness and then switch to Pandaren Monk. Use his Fury of a 1,000 Fists followed by Takedown.
If so far all went well, Skrillix will be dead or one small hit away.

Suggested Counters 2: Alpine Foxling / Ghastly Rat / Ghostly Skull

Your first goal is to make Foxling place Howl debuff on Skrillix and switch to Ghastly to use Ghostly Bite.
So assuming you managed to land an empowered Ghostly Bite, you can use Rabid Strike a couple of times.
In this case it will die and then you switch to Ghostly Skull to finish the job.

MAGIC

Vile Blood of Draenor (2005 / 381 / 381)
Creeping Ooze: Low to medium damage.
Ooze Touch: Low to medium damage.

Suggested Counters: Cinder Pup / Anubisath Idol / Anodized Robo Cub (1888 HP) or Shimmershell Snail (1969 HP)

Fairly easy fight. First off cast Cinder Pup’s Crouch which will really make a difference.
Then proceed with Howl followed by Flame Breath.
You should survive at least two more hits from Vile Blood, in which you should cast Flame Breath again and a Howl before it dies.
After that you can switch to Anubisath or Anodized for a last empowered Demolish plus the dot from Flame Breath and that should be game over for Vile Blood.

Dark Gazer (2397 / 319 / 366)
Interrupting Gaze: Extremely annoying and can be casted too often.
Focused Beams: The faster you can down him, the better, because this spell keeps getting incredibly strong, hitting neutral attacks over 700.

Suggested Counters : Alpine Foxling / Cinder Pup / Emerald Proto-Whelp

Basically a Howl fight. Go for a Howl from Alpine Foxling and then switch to Cinder Pup and use his Flame Breath.
Next you need to be able to place a Howl on Gazer before Cinder dies. If allowed slip a Flame Breath in between.
Alternatively, Alpine Foxling placed a Howl and Cinder casted Flame Breath, you could use Crouch to last a few more rounds slipping in some more regular Flame Breaths before placing the Howl for Proto-Drake, but it's a gamble.
Anyhow, after Gazer has Howl from Cinder, switch immediately to Proto-Whelp and cast a Flame Breath.
If need be, finish him off with a few more Flame Breaths, but shouldn't need many.

MECHANICAL

Dreadwalker (1694 / 506 / 319)
Sticky Grenade: High damage when it lands.
Haywire: Does medium to high damage.

Suggested Counters: Crimson Geode / Lil’ Ragnaros / Shimmershell Snail

[color=cyan]Start with Crimson using Amplify Magic and then Stone Rush. Don’t worry about friendly fire from the last spell because best case scenario Crimson will still die after only casting two spells. Anyhow, after those two spells bring in Lil’ Ragnaros immediately to use Flamethrower and then Conflagrate. Use Sulfuras Smash or switch to next pet to finish the job.

Felsworn Sentry
Fel Immolate: Relatively weak ability which will let you survive longer to hit more times.
Repair: It will heal half of his HP.

Suggested Counters: Lil’ Ragnaros / Fel Flame / Crimson Geode

Start with Lil Ragnaros using Flamethrower followed by Conflagrate.
Next, spam Sulfuras Smash till Lil dies.
Assuming you can drop him to 30% HP, next switch to Fel Flame using Flamethrower then Conflagrate.
These will be fairly weaker than Lil Ragnaros but show help finish him off. If you didn’t kill him before he healed, I suggest forfeiting and starting over.
Another strategy is starting with the Geode with his Amplify Magic > Stone Rush combo, and then bringing Lil Ragnaros to finish the job.

UNDEAD

Cursed Spirit (1928 / 413 / 366)
Ghostly Bite: This is basically a nuke mixed with disable, so your only options are pretty much a Flying pet to do the first hit, a Critter (which by racial can';t be stunned) or a pet with evasion. She will usually cast this as first spell or after a Fel Corruption.
Death Coil: Relatively low damage but it heals her.

Suggested Counters 1: Tolai Hare / Shimmershell Snail (or similar with Acidic Goo and Dive) / Young Mutant Warturtle

Start with Tolai using Adrenaline Rush followed Burrow.
With luck, Spirit wasted her Ghostly Bite on your immune turn (that's supposing she didn't cast it on the first round).
Death Coil is not a big threat damage-wise, and your hare should be able to use Flurry to bring her to 30% HP.
Keep hitting her till it Tolai Dies. Then switch to Shimmershell to cast Acidic Good followed by Dive.
This should end her. If not go for Warturtle to finish the job.

Suggested Counters 2: Effervescent Glowfly / Mei Li Sparkler / Chrominius

Start with Effervescent using Glowing Toxin and then Confusing Sting.
If Spirit hasn't casted the stun yet, don’t change your pet and let him soak it.
If that went well, she will have both dots and her Ghostly Bite on CD.
Next up bring Mei Li to place the same two dots on Spirit, hopefully both before dying.
Next go for Chrominius’ Howl > Surge of Power combo.

very good guide, helped us with some fights but...the cursed spirit one is not doable. tolai hare cand get him to 30% not in a million years. when he dies, after casting adrenaline rush, burrow and the single flurry that he can, the spirit is 80-90%. so when the shimmering comes the spirit is back to full hp. the other combo for spirit is good, i manage to kill the spirit, but i died too and he is undead...so can u get us a video so we can see is doable on freakz?

Glad it helped! I've only been able to defeat Cursed Spirit 3 times and those were the combinations used. Got really lucky though because she mainly casted Death Coil or that she casted Fel Corruption on the third round, that meaning for example just with Tolai Hare doing a total of 1300+ damage (Adrenaline Rush + Flurry 2x).

I started doing some more experimenting and if successful I'll upload a video. There was only one lucky attempy (the one I described before) out of 50 tries... So for now it will be a thing of luck because there are many things not working properly like Unborn Val'kyr's Haunt and Curse of Doom, Stampeded doing 30% of the damage it should, just to name a few.

Thanks for the input!
