Client goes 'not responding' randomly

I have a problem with the client. It randomly somewhat crashes.

First the screen freezes for a second, then goes black for a second, and then alt tabs me to the desktop. After these it goes 'not responding'.

I've tried everything I could find. Removing the 'read only' on the folder, giving the launcher and the game exe admin privileges, trying windows 7 compatibility mode, reinstalling the game, switching between 32 bit and 64 bit clients, adding the launcher and/or the game exe to the firewall exceptions, disabling firewall completely.

Nothing is working for me.

I really need to solve this issue, it's really annoying trying to play like that, crashing every 15-20 minutes.

What launcher are you using?
And what Realm are you trying to connect?
