A question if the server jumps to 4.3.3 and bypass 4.2 (and/or 4.1):


Do players get gear of an applicable item level?


After all it would be near impossible to do Dragon Soul content if majority of us remain in BH/BoT/BWD-gear.

That would be the equivalent of:

- Doing Sunwell Plateau using gear from Karazhan
- Doing Icecrown Citadel/Ruby Sanctum using gear from Naxxramas WotLK

That's why shocker isn't "jumping" to the last game content. If freakz updates to 4.3.x at some point you won't be able to enter DS. Before that Shocker would start releasing content by it's order(4.1 -> 4.2 -> 4.3).

any patch is better than 4.0.6

For 4.3.4 there were added 3 dungeons (End Time, Hour of Twilight and Well of Eternity) which boost you to 378 ilvl, then you have raid finder which drops 384 and then normal is fairly easy.

They did this in wrath also on the last patch (see HOR, POS, FOS).

That's why we want new patch! We'll have three "epic" dungeons, Firelands, LFR, Normal and HC Dragon soul plus classes got balanced. ATM we're stuck with this stupid patch with lasted ONLY 21 days on retail and it got replaced with 4.1.

It lasted like 10 weeks actually, just to be accurate.
And I think you have already read in this topic that the update does not depend on us.
I ask you just to be patient, I repeat myself, we aren't staying on this patch because we like it.

Nope. 4.0.6 version lasted for 21 days.


PS: I don't want to advertise or something but after hearing that Monster got 4.3.4 realm i had to check it out and so far they are doing pretty good job with it. Most of the spells work as it should and that thing that amaze me the most is the feeling i had when i joined there. I had the same feeling i had when i switched from Molten to Freakz two years ago. Guards wave at me when i pass them, NPC's walk around like real people etc.

IMHO 4.3.4 test realm wouldn't be such a bad idea. With some work freakz might pass Molten

yeah i heard it lasted about 2-3 weeks.

anyways .. freakz is nice and WAY better (bug/script - wise) than other servers (and i have played in several others , including molten) BUT it all goes to waste if the patch is not updated .. really staff/gms/devs/owner should seriously consider moving to any other patch other than 4.0.6 , it would not only make the server better but also attract more people.


i like freakz .. and im really concerned about its future , i been playing on this server for the last 8 months and i have seen several guilds going back/to genesis for population issues. seen also several guild and people (including 59 players from my guild) moving to other servers because of patch/population issues ...


anyways hope a patch update is done soon.. before even more servers go 4.3 ... i just shudder to think what would happen if the "bigger" servers like molten go 4.3 (or even if they just announce it..)

i know c++ quite a bit and i would be happy to help if i could and i dnt need any thing jus want freakz to devlop faster and i seriously hope tat we get next patch soon

with considering that Freakz got ONLY one dev - Shocker...i would still ask for a date or something of releasing next patch..
and yes i know we have to be patient and i'll personally be.

Jumping from (let's say) 70% fixed 4.0.6 patch to a 10% "fixed" 4.3.3 would only bring us lags, alot of dc's, low gear problems, ALOT of quest buggs, ALOT of WoW errors, and a F**king sh!tload of players "QQing" and leaving the server.

Be patient. Wait for Shoker and other mods to fix this to at least 90%, then wait a bit more for them to fix the next patch they are planing to put out to an acceptable level or "bug-free" world.

All in all - Be patient.

problem is soon we going to see MOP servers , and 1 or 2 server will manage to fix 40 % or even 70 % from quests side , and will start fixing dung and spells later , trust ppl will leave the server cause they know they even if wowfreakz update to 4.3 he will take another year to fix almost 90 % of content , and i mean by that same loot stuff epic from normal mobs , and 2 dungs and 2 raids at max . dont get me wrong this is not a negative comment , i am simply telling facts , i think and we all think that wowfreakz have to step up and get some GM's and dev and start fixing the rest of 4.0.6a , and move to 4.3 .
