actually the char name IS in use - it's taken, isn't it, so you are wrong. the fact it's not being played with is smth else. you want some gm to personally and manually delete this char, so you can take it. why do you think you are so special ? guess what - you are not! so if you want personal favors from gm's that donation seems legit to me. he could easily just say - there wont be any db cleaning soon and close the thread.

I am working in IT - I have some knowledge about databases, programing architecture and networking and i am happy with my paycheck. Shocker have tons of practical skill and theoretical knowledge ( just try to imagine the size of project like maintaining wow server). I sure hope he have good earnings, because otherwise i dont see the reason for him to stay and code for your ungratefull asses.

Yes, I can see the server is not the place it used to be when I joined. hell I even deleted wow last week. but all of you cant just complain about how *** up everything is. Give stuff the credits they deserve - at least you can freely say what you think. 100 years ago when I played @ the so called best private server ( the most populated one, yet one of the crappies I have ever seen) if you make thread and say smth bad about server/staff you get banned and your thread deleted. if you ask about dc's/ server downtime the only response you got is thread delete. that is the north korea of the wow community - maximum censorship. i've been qq-ing/ flaming/ deriding Scoker from 2 months now, because from 3 mastery trinkets for casters 1 is not working and 2 are not obtainable atm. i am pissed it's like that, but at least i can say that i am, without getting ban hammered! and btw the boss/char spells scripts here are a lot better that that other place.

bottom line: for the money you pay, that's the best you can get !

I've been playing on retail long before Freakz even existed. That's one of the reasons I'm Head GM, as I've been everywhere and done everything in WoW.

well everyone here knows your a suckup so nobody cares what you think,and there are like 5k chars that are lvl 1 not being logged on for 2 years and they are using the names some people might like to have....

cranio, I hate that I had to broke your imaginary world where you were the center of the universe. I tried to do it as painless as possible. but here's the raw thruth: no one cares about you and if you leave no one will remember you 3 months from that moment. you are nobody and you cant ask for personal favors from gm's. they are not your mommy and daddy and they dont give a shit about you. you want their time for your special case - pay for it or gtfo, there are enough tickets to be solved.

Just a note on the character names - if some name is taken on retail and the character is inactive for 6 months, upon request of an other player for that name the character does not get deleted, instead it gets flagged for a name change. That way the name is free for use to others and the character is still there. In case the owner actually logs on the character in the future it will still be there, he will just need to give him a new name before logging in.

If u know the whole game, it doesnt mean that u have to be head GM. Head GM like u will never get him self on a lvl of retarded people that are trolling u or trying to mock u, talking from my own experiance. A guy like u have to have a good personality and respect to people that acually are paying for your living. The reasons for which I am the Head GM on Freakz are many and not to be explained to anyone.

This topic has clearly derailed a lot, going to close this. If there will ever be a clean-up or at least a flagging for rename of all characters inactive in X months, we will clearly announce.
