Custom Boss Event - Spring Edition - Tactics & Discussion

Location : Siege of Orgrimmar 10-man NORMAL

Event Duration : ends at 07.03.2016 - 23:59 Server Time

Boss link : Unstable Subject

Loot : Click Here

Rewards : Boss' loot

- Elixir of Ancient Knowledge is consumable and account bound!

Difficulty : Moderate-Hard

Recommended raid composition : 1 tank, 2 healers, 7 dps


The boss is FARMABLE without getting cooldown.


Tactics :

1. The Unstable Subject Levels Up when a player is killed

2. Gaze is casted on the entire raid if the tank is not within melee range!

3. Berserk after 9 minutes


Phase 1 - 100% - 70%

1. Every 90 seconds, 4 Controlled AI spawns and walks to the center casting Erupting Sha. If a bomb reaches the center, it cast War Song

2. Rend Flesh, Naked and Afraid and Arterial Cut are casted on tank

3. Corrupted Healing is casted on a random target except tank twice

4. Defiled Ground spawns a puddle, dealing damage to anyone who stand in it.


Phase 2 - 70% - 30%

1. Arcing Smash is casted on the tank when Phase 2 begins

2. Ruin deals aoe damage every 30 seconds

3. Tanks spawns every 30 seconds and casts Fist Smash every 15 seconds. When a tank is killed, it casts Explosive Slam

4. Overwhelming Assault is casted on tank every 35 seconds. Stack.

Phase 3 - 30% - 0%

1. Shattering Cleave is casted on tank

2. Toxic Mist is casted on random targets every minute

3. Iron Prison is casted at 17% and 15% on random players

4. Obsidian Armor stacks on the boss every second at 16% HP until the encounter ends.

5. Ticking Bomb are summoned every 15 seconds. Ticking bombs deals aoe damage at 70%, 50%, 20%, 5%. Ticking Bombs will detonate after 45 seconds Implosion

To be doable make the boss with 215mil. HP and the bombs 2000k HP . Lower the damage of the spells a little . Healing is imposible. Healers go out of mana arround 85% of the boss.
The damage and the Boss health are made for 25man . Reduce them. For Example Oondasta has 320mil. HP and we are doing it 25 ppl. This is what i recommend.

The boss is doable with a ~515 ilvl raid. Try harder

that healers are noob if they get out of mana at 85 % off the boss , no need overheal players need to learn that

good idea with this event. It's kind of hard but with a bit of strategy it is ok.

It would be good if you guys can make soo 10n raid invite system like Oondasta and Nalak. My guild doesn't like events and I cannot farm it solo.
