Bug description: Kings Bane dot - 9kk damage on tick ? Damage was did on Trillax Hc .. doesn`t exist damage increase on this boss.. This is fucking absurd. This is fucked up and not fair at all. 9kk at one tick ?

@Quicksand you are the man who can solve this. I don`t know rogue to search for reproduce exactly what is the problem . BUT The best rogues on Blizz did 9x less that on rogue on freakz. On blizz kingsbane is not top 3 abbility ( you can search on all logs never see in top 3) , here are in the top all the time. U can search on all rogues logs .

I don't really know the cause of it. I made a copy of his char, but even with 100 stacks of the damage bonus (which needless to say is impossible without commands), the max damage i got to is 3.5M crit. This is already is with cheating....

If that would be the case, it would mean a significant decrease, but I cannot find any other information that confirms this

My damage is high, but players can get around 20 stacks, not 99. Without cheating and stuff I got to around 2.5M. was trying with half mastery, I got to 1.1M crits. which seems to be legit Thinking

Interesting theory. So you say that maybe agonizing poisons stack between themselves?
I'll have to try, but I doubt it: Apply Aura: Mod School Damage % by Caster

so it only increases damage to that target, if you are the caster of that aura Thinking

250% mastery is not something unheard of for Assassination rogue... When you have that high iLvl, geared, enchanted and socketed properly, you can have that much. And mastery as of now increases the damage of kingbane 100%, which could explain some of the really high damage. Please stop arguing however, I need to have a calm discussion and try to fix this.

Once shocker comes online, I'll have an exact copy of that character, and I'll make some tests myself.

Agonizing Poison application no longer increases Kingsbane damage by twice the listed amount.


Hotfix was never implemented, as it was never needed. Kingsbane always got 1 stack from AP on FREAKZ, because I never knew of that bug on blizzard. Nonetheless, AP only gives ONE stack to kingsbane, as intended.
Also, I checked, it does NOT double dip from anything. The only thing I can think of is that it should scale with 50% mastery, not 100%. As it is seen on AskMrRobot. That practically halves the damage. But I am not really sure that's true

As I said, the stack limit on that is 99, so 1485% bonus damage is the absolute maximum, and even with his gear and by cheating (manually setting the stack amount to 99) could not get the damage that high

Don't worry, we just set up a system to log any suspicious damage from specific spells (as of now they are targeted to Kingsbane and Draught of Souls -> the fix for that will be reverted and the damage will be closely monitored). We will be able to check all auras from the caster and the target when the damage occured. Please remain patient until we come back with results / possible fix.

I checked it, but it's not how it works, sorry. It gives 15% damage increase per stack, it works properly. That 0.15 multiplier is the 15% increase from applying poisons

This is not resetting when kingsbane expires from target, otherwise there is no explanation why kingsbane damage keeps going up and up and up everytime.


That is not true, it DOES reset, except if you are using cheat cooldown, but normal players are not using that.

Also, Bag of Tricks has nothing to do with Kingsbane

I'm 2000% sure it's surge of toxins + Agonizing Poison, but I cannot figure out why. I have dozens of damage logs, where Kingsbane hits for 6-8M damage per tick, ALL of them happens when there are 4-5 applications of both AP and SoT.

But all of these buffs should only affect the damage of the caster, not for other rogues as well

myb you puted something wrong there true/false or some more or less 0, or you puted something else and AP is stacking from every rogue and inc dmg from KB ( or its problem with SoT to not count only from caster )


Just NO, no one can get 50+ stacks, I assure you. The most i saw in logs were 24.
