32955 SP and 60% mastery.
(27+32955*0.0255)*1.6*2 = 2775 damage. Between theory tick1 and actual tick1 there is a 40 dmg difference. This 40 dmg is ALWAYS there, so if you're testing with no gear, you'd get 80 dmg theory tick, but only 40 dmg actual tick. That's why at no gear you get so huge differences.

tick1 = 2734
tick2 = 4101 = tick1+tick1 /2 = 2734 + 1367
tick3 = 5468 = tick2+tick1 /2 = 4101 + 1367
tick4 = 6835 = tick3+tick1 /2 = 5468 + 1367
....
tick9 = 13670 = tick8+tick1 /2 = 12303 + 1367
tick10 = 15037 = tick9+tick /2 = 13670 + 1367 [color=red]*this is where I think Agony is calculated wrong because I believe it should stop at n=10, not at n+1=11*



tick10 = 15037
tick10(after refresh) = 15240

This is a 200 dmg difference. Do you recall the 240 dmg from naked testing and then refreshing to 400? You get some extra damage after refresh.
Why?
Well because you start with 2734 dmg instead of 2775. If 2775 is calculated using n+1, then base tick is 1387. 1387 * 11 = 15262, which is very close to 15240. Same goes for naked testing.


So in conclusion, during the first application, you lose @40 damage, but you get it back when you reapply Agony at 10 stacks. So the only damage loss here is 200 damage for the FIRST application, after you refresh it, you return to your full damage.


I will continue to check if Agony should have 11 multiplier at 10 stacks or calculate it with 10 multiplier.
