Bug description: Procuie foarte rar..de exemplu poti sa ataci 1 minut incontinuu si sa nu primesti 5 stackuri..de exemplu..dupa unleash weapons si 1 stormstrike ar trebui sa ai 5 stacks (nu obligatoriu dar 2-3 tot ar trebui) ..aici se intampla sa nu ai nici 1 stack dupa unleash weapons si cateva autoattacks, si am observat cateodata iti da 4-5 stackuri deodata, nu stiu exact cum sa demonstrez fiindca nu pot filma in timp ce joc si cu poze e imposibil..dar rog un gm sa testeze ..este ceva gresit la sistemul de proc. al acestui talent.

When Dual wielding, the PPM rate is approximately 25 PPM.

PPH is the percent chance of a proc occurring each hit. PPH benefits greatly from faster hits.
PPM scales to PPH according to weapon speed. Here is the formula:
PPH = (Weapon speed) / (60 / PPM)

Patch 4.3.0 (29-Nov-2011): Maelstrom Weapon can now also proc from fully absorbed melee attacks.
Patch 3.0.2 (14-Oct-2008): Maelstrom Weapon proc chance reduced to 2/4/6/8/10% on critical hit when you deal damage with a melee weapon.

Found a bit of info in SimCraft's source code. Maybe it helps.

It's using PPM values.
It says "double chance - proc chance on swing 10" so maybe the normal chance is 5 PPM. That would translate into 21.6% proc chance with a base weapon speed of 2.6.

Am citit pe mai multe forumuri ..dar nu gasesc nimic oficial..cel mai bun raspuns sa spun asa..la oferit cineva pe forum pe blizzard..dar e un post din 2011 ..

Maelstrom Weapon is estimated to be a 10 ppm mechanic per melee strike, with the notable exception of Stormstrike hits. Stormstrike* hits will not proc stacks of Maelstrom Weapon. Lava Lash and Windfury attacks will proc it though.

As a 10 ppm mechanic that means you get roughly a 37% chance to gain a stack on every melee strike (except for Stormstrike). Which means if you are going long stretches without a proc either you are the most unlucky individual imaginable or you are doing something wrong.

Nu as vrea sa ma repet..dar am mai cautat ''o pagina doua'' pe google fiindca chiar vreau sa rezolvati 'bugul' asta. Am gasit pe un server de pandaria privat..cineva a facut mai multe teste cu niste addonuri si rog un gm/developer sa citeasca topicul, este si un video ca proof pe care o sa il postez mai jos ..intai ..ce spune individul

"Testing was done without using stormstrike, lavalash,weapon imbues and haste totem since since all mentioned increase number of hits and are supposed to increase REALTIME ppm and would interfere with calculating true ppm of MW.
Testing lasted for 15 minutes and 17 seconds. Two methods of calculating PPM were used: addon proculas for version 4.3.4 and ingame stopwatch in combination with recount tracking usage of MW5 with GHW.
Proculas result was 8.54 PPM.
Recount reported 26 GHW with MW5 for a time period of 15 minutes and 17 seconds.
This result to 26*5=130 procs in 917 sec and that is 0.14176663 PPS (ProcPerSecond) or 8.506 PPM.
Results from both methods are consistent within margin of error of 1%.
Also miss chance must be included in calculation, with 17% melee hit chance i had 7% of missed attacks, and that will increase measured averaged ~8.52 PPM to 8.52/93*100 = 9.167 TRUE PPM of MW while dual wielding."

E live si tot nu e reparat bugul. E un bug mai mult decat major, in 30 sec de dat in dummy daca ai noroc sa faci 5 stacks de maelstrom esti norocos..!!

i dont understand this so .. i play at official server Siege of orgrimmar at HC proggress with enhacement shammy.. lighting bolt instant give you +-9% total dps +- every 15-20 sec you have stack.. here you have stack every minute so something dont work right
