Tirion Fordring decided to take the burden of being the Lich King, but instead, Bolvar Fordragon insisted that he is to become the new Lich King, as "the dragons' flame sealed [his] fate" and "the world of the living can no longer confort [him]". Bolvar also said to Tirion that he still has a destiny, alog with the brave heroes that defeated Arthas.
