Bug description: - the math for this spell is not implemented :

Value: 8%
Damage School: Shadow
Targets: TARGET_UNIT_CASTER_AND_SUMMONS
Radius: 100 yards

This Artifact spell has a 45 s Cooldown, Should be as powerful as a Balance Druid Full Moon with all my Demons up (2 x Dreadstalkers (2.2M hp) , 4x Wild Imps (2m HP) , Fel Lord (3M HP) , Felguard (1.5M HP) , Infernal 1M) Yep, if you manage to get all these up (which is not really easy in a 3v3 match) and cast Thalkiel's Consumption you should go for 800-850k+.

Played some 3v3 games today, had like 7M HP Up *in Demons* ~ should have gone for 600k+ and I can remember those 250-300-350K low numbers
repeating over and over again...

Thal'kiel drains 8% of the life from your demon servants and unleashes a blast of Shadow damage at your current target equal to the life he stole.

8% out of 2922K = 233.76K

Actual Damage : 176K

- Tested on several players aswell, test for yourself please, unfortunately I can't record Legion, so I'm struggling with Screenshots.

This links together with Demonic Empowerment (because Demonic Empowerment should increase the hP of our Demons)... I don't know if it considers anything at all cause it ignores the HP, the damage done by this spell is random..

Demonic Empowerment decreases the HP of 90% of our minions, instead of increasing it => it lowers the Damage of Thal'Kiels Consumption (which is currently dealing No formula dmg, so that's the main explanation of this spell averaging 200-300k instead of 800-1M)


Please, Please focus in fixing this Spec, it's totally unplayable it deals like almost half of the damage it should deal and all the Confirmed Bugs + Artef. Spell (which should be the most powerful) I'm tired of people yelling : "oh gosh, not playing with warlock", "omg, i play with demo in 3s while they play with fury or other bugged classes, we're going to lose" , " omg lockher why u beg me to play with you again, they will join fury/balance / fury.dk / fury,dh and we stand no chance" , "nah not playing because of bugged classes with tons of damage", " omg trash warlock 1800" ,"omg nobody can play lock decent on this server"

Fel lord doesn't affect artifacts damage,i think summon infernal or summon doomguard doesn't affect either the artifact's damage,i think we will have to see if the spell is working corectly after Demonic empowerment will be fixed for all pets

The formula is incorrect, regardless what demons you have up.. Summon 1 Wild imp, 4 Wild imps or Dreadstalkers and test... / summon whatever , calculate, the damage is totally random and way lower than it should be.

What's the point of having 10+ servants up, and deal 200k dmg with a 45 s CD.

We have to wait Demonic Empowerment to be fixed so we can be sure about the problem

And also we have Pet's HP issue and the affect that Demonic empowerment decrease their HP.
so It's better to not try Demonology here. It's not working at all when your mastery doesn't work.
We will waiting for the fixes to play this spec that I love it.

I tested on players in duels, it drained 63698 health and it damaged 68480. I have 4.88% versatility so the damage is correct. Then I hit a dummy with PvP templated on, it drained 84545 and it damaged 56643. So yes, something is fishy.

The calculations are correct. If you're not aware, Thal'Kiel's Consumption has 67% PvP modifier. So it drains 8%, and does 5.36% only per max HP in PvP situations. Damage is significantly lower than on retail because incorrect pet HP / incorrect interaction between HP and demonic empowerment. Once those are fixed, it will deal normal damage. The spell itself is NOT bugged
