Finally worked. Had to use the bomb on the raised platform at the back of the AH. Which isn't indicated anywhere in the quest log or on the map.

Already restarted it several times, but haven't tried to delete the cache yet, will try that now.

I deleted the Cache folder and (re)started the scenario, but unfortuna ...
