Confirmed, having the same issue.
Since druid has no other option onresto mage twer challenge, it is almost impossible to complete. |

Confirmed, same for me, phasing out when getting close
if i go to the tunnel entrance i can see him, he would offer the quest since i can see the mark abowe his head, but as i get closer he disappear ... |

Also in stage 2 the corrupting darkness applies seed of corruption that spawns adds.
The corrupting darkness should stay stationary and the adds should move towards him, BUT when adds get closer the corrupting darkness moves to them and consumes them.
It should ONLY consume them when they reach him, he should not mov ... |

Also Xylem's range in which he gets revealed in darkness phase is quite small, based on videos it sould be 1-2 yard bigger |
