Are there really lags? (Informational) (Don't post here if you're angry about lags)

Well, first let me explain about myself:

I Live in Iran
My Bandwidth: around 8 Mbps = 1 MB/s
My average ping time for 4.2.2.4 = 120 ms
My average ping time for google.com (173.194.44.68) = 151 ms
My average ping in game (wowfreakz legion) = 160 ms
Packet Loss: I have 0.1% packet loss for 4.2.2.4
Delays ingame (freakz legion): not all the time just when the server is at its peak

So If you want to post in this topic please do above tests
and then talk.

I really love this server and the staff members, they're so cool, awesome, Fast bug fixers
and I believe this is the best private legion server ever (at its current state even with lags, dcs, crashes and all other stuff)

BUT I'm into pvp and sadly these delays are forcing me to quit wow.
because I think all these delays are on my side and Iranians can't do PVP on a romanian server.

Is it really only on my side?
I know about those hard lag spikes that stop the whole server for a moment
but what I'm talking about is not that, it's about a nearly 24/7 continuous delay
It usually happens when the server is at its peak as i said and sadly the only thing that i love about wow is pvp which gets ruined by delays.
When I try to Interrupt a healer, most of the time i miss it even if it's not a fake cast.
Also I can play without any delays around 2AM-9AM

What I want to ask from devs is that, is it a bug to be fixed or just because there are many players online?
and more importantly: Does it get fixed as the server goes on?

We can't know if you have the server delays or internet lags. However, I did some optimizations today hopefully to decrease the server delay, let's see how it works now. I'll try to do more in the following period

You actually solved my problem (nearly) entirely
with 160ms and I have nearly 0 delay
what did you do?!

Yeah, It's because of having the best legion Private server

Yet there's a 0.1 to 0.5sec delay when server reaches above 2500 players

I doubt it, I checked the delay logs today and it was constant from 2000 players to 3300+

You shouldn't because there were times that I had no delay at all
And it's not just me saying this
All my friends (from Iran to Romania and England)
notice the delays sometimes
So it's not something just from my ISP or ...

Aside from optimizations on this side (as i have seen there were many).Is there an option to upgrade thr hardware on the server side?
I know it will come at a premium price but since the realm seems to grow larger and larger (you are about to hit the 4000 active players landmark on a single realm),won't there be a major diffrence if you decide to give the server more fighting power?Like a few more cores/SSD's/higher bandwidth national/international.
Or will this mess up all the work done up until now since all the optimizations made are specific for the current cpu(s) arhitecture/kernel?

Optimizations I did are mostly core-related, the server is already top notch and from what I can see the issue is NOT hardware. If something needs to be done, is more core optimizations. Upgrading the hardware even more would be ~useless currently.
