Battery case

I've just boguht a battery case for iphone4/4s but it has no charging port! I mean, you can simply slide your phone into the case( there's something to connect at the bottom) but there is no place to chare! I don't know what can I do because I got it as a gift for my girlfriend and I don't want her sad knowing it's destroyed because I paid 1 RoN for it

It's an Energizer case( that's the name of the brand)

In my opinion, my phone charges it and then you charge the phone back to make them full battery but it has no logic!

Any ideas?
