Blizzard battlenet removing Wowfreakz installation?

Hi wowfreaks

So I had a strange thing happen today. I log into my battlenet account to play some Hearthstone. World of Warcraft Retail client starts an update. Wtf, I haven't downloaded or played retail wow for years? So I stop the update and select uninstall from the battlenet client.

Later I try to log in to wowfreaks and realize the whole legion torrent client has been removed from my computer. Sneaky from Blizzard no doubt.

Is this a known problem with wowfreaks staff, is there anything I can do to stop this from happening again?

Personally, I've never seen, encountered or heard of this issue before.

What you can do though, is open up your Battle.net Desktop App.
Open up the settings window, and proceed to "Game Install/Update".
From there, scroll down a bit till you find "Automatic Updates", and tick it to "Never automatically apply updates".
