Character name:
Raid: Nighthold Mythic
Boss: Trilliax
Spell: Annihilation


Bug description:
When boss cast "annihilation" spell, he is spinning very fast and wipes the entire raid.
When we are 20 people he is spinning faster.
The boss wiped the entire raid in a few seconds

I have been told:
"This is most likely due to your raid attacking the boss while he's casting Annihilation.
This causes the beam to jerk from one place to the other.
If you still think it's bugged, feel free to open another bug report." by Chickenstew helper.

Thing is this doesnt happen on blizzard servers.
I have proof with videos from retail when ppl attack boss when he it is casting annihilation and it deosnt spin around.
There is no threshold, or, if it is, is way higher than it is on this server.
And there is no description in the adventure guide about any threshold or any description of the spell which might say that you dont have to attack during the casting or what would happen if you will.

i bet this is a joke or something like this .... this problem is from the time when the boss was live first time a few years ago and now u come whit a post thinking they will gone fix it now when almost the finish of legion on this server this must be a joke stop live in past and inventing bugs -

Dear player,

I have tested trilliax thoroughly & here are my findings.

-the beam moves faster(and a bit jerky) while attacking the boss during Annihilation.
-you're supposed to use movement speed(stampeding roar, blinks,demonic gateways etc) to be able to outrun the beam. (or be closer to the walls)
-I could not reproduce a scenario in which i was not able to outrun the beam with movement speed.

Please provide video proof of the beam going "very fast" and wiping everyone.

-The common answer to everyones complain about the beam, yet the Annihilation will spaz around even if you don't attack the Trilliax, even if you attack the trilliax you can see the videos perfectly and clearly 100% that everyone there is attacking it while the boss casts Annihilation and he doesn't spaz. So this excuse is invalid.

-Optional, and you don't have to, if it doesn't spaz around, you can outrun it without roars, blinks, gateways, etc...

-You could reproduce it and you did reproduce it multiple times in the past.

Ok, ill try to record it.

But as u can see, on Blizzard servers it moves slowly, so it still bugged.

So as u can see in those videos -- everybody is attacking it -- boss cast annihilation slowly -- here(on our server) kills us all

This is the bug// you already found it, fix it plz
the beam shoouldnt move that way
you dont need to use blink, demonic gateways or stampending roar

^u may be new here but this type of problems with beams is since I was dev here, it was a custom function FREAKZ_IsOnBeam which was solving everything (mainly threat on players even tho caster is facing a steady point \\ trigger ), I don't know if its still available since there's a totally new engine.

My opinion... boss is still bugged.

Just make the beam to move much, much more slowly.

Literally jumps. I posted couple of videos how this boss works on retail, look up. That beam moves slowly, never jumps, even when boss is attacked while casting, never does that; everybody attack boss during casting annihilation, beam moves slowly.

This video was recoreded 2 days ago(after the "fix").
